18 3 Village Fete

I should like to thank everyone who organised this year's fete for putting on a splendid event. It was a real village celebration, with- out loads of amplified music. It was memorable.

Jean & I attended for the whole afternoon with our daughter and two grandsons. They absolutely loved it, with the free bouncy slide and all of the sideshows. Our younger grandson won the junior bowling, as well as enjoying the tug of war and our other grandson ensured that we went home with a couple of coconuts!

We have lived in the village for 30 years and can't remember a better event.

Well done and here's to next year!

Children’s Centres Consultation Current Children’s Centres to be re-designated in South Cambs

We are proposing that some Children’s Centres would no longer be needed as Children’s Centres. We would look to re-designate these spaces to meet other needs of families in the area including Childcare provision, community use and wherever possible ongoing Outreach Pro- gramme provision as required.
