It contains the record of the 2016 foal crop in the Kingdom. In addition Volume 11 of the Saudi Arabian Stud Book Non-Thoroughbred Register has been produced within this publication. This Volume contains a record of the 2016 Non-Thoroughbred foal crop in the Kingdom. We trust you will find these records of the ever-expanding Saudi Arabian Thoroughbred breeding industry an interesting and valuable guide in the progress of breeding in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Non-Thoroughbred mares are indicated with an asterisk after their name. To the right of the mare’s name in the index appears a number or numbers which refers to the stallion under which this year’s returns or covering details can be found; each stallion having been allocated a number or numbers if appearing in both ’Broodmares and their produce’ sections of this issue. Each stallion involved in a double covering also has a further number. Numbers in italics refer to 2016 coverings. Mares not appearing in the ’Broodmares and their produce’ sections under 2016 Returns but listed in the Index are those which have not been covered and are indicated by X. For Non-Thoroughbred mares, a previous reference, where relevant, is given indicating the mare’s last appearance in the Non-Thoroughbred Register. (Vol.., p..) is the style used when the mare has not previously appeared as a broodmare and is, therefore, the mare’s foaling reference.
