August 1, 2014 (Red Bank, NJ) --- THE DISCO FRIES proudly announce an impromptu—“Pop Up” pizza party at Maruca's Famous Tomato Pies, which will coincide with their Electric Adventure engagement in Seaside Heights. Electric Adventure is an annual multi-day, youth culture event that takes place Saturday, August 2nd and Sunday, August 3rd The Beach at Seaside Heights featuring other top tier EDM acts such as DJ Snake, Flux Pavilion, and Dzeko & Torres. Nick Ditri and Danny Boselovic are keen on supporting "the real Seaside Heights," and addressing the needs of the community. Nick Ditri is a native of Red Bank, New Jersey and understands the misfortune of the region firsthand from friends and long time fans. "Seaside Heights was decimated, and ultimately became a nonexistent place after Hurricane Sandy. A year later, a fire consumed the entire rebuilt boardwalk," says Nick Ditri. "This is our first year of doing festivals and we're able to celebrate at home and throw a surprise party for our hometown fans, and bring back a part of the local economy which was lost as well.” Nick and Danny will be partnering with Joe Maruca with the goal of providing pizza and smiles to the area's residents. Taking over Seaside Heights, NJ for Electric Adventure’s first ever Beach Weekend takeover, festival goers will be able to enjoy all of the rides and attractions that the famous Seaside Heights boardwalk has to offer. The Disco Fries will also perform at the Official Electric Adventure Afterparty at Hemingways on the night of Sunday, August 3rd, presented by their imprint 'Liftoff Recordings.' The Disco Fries’ latest song featuring Niko The Kid, "The Light" is currently in rotation on several radio stations in the tri-state area; they've recently played alongside Ariana Grande, JLO and Calvin Harris at 103.5 KTUphoria at The Izod Center. The Disco Fries have recently been chosen by globally acclaimed artist Tiësto and 7UP® to be one of this year’s Bubbling UP DJs for #7x7UP. They'll be teaming up with both partners all year to providing special performances, exclusive content and lots more. Recent and forthcoming engagements included an appearance at the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas and the Moonrise Festival next week at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. They recently produced two tracks on Tiesto's 'A Town Called Parade,' both "Wasted" featuring Matthew Koma and "Shimmer" featuring Christian Burns. The 'Fries have also received co-write and composer credits on Krewella "Live For The Night" along with the members of Cash Cash. From the beginning, Nick & Danny have consistently blurred the lines between genres and managed to create a unique balance between big- room classical melodies and their signature blown out basslines. In 2013, The Disco Fries performed over 75 shows from coast to coast and across the globe (gig/venue history enclosed). Notable gigs have included playing alongside Tiesto at Hakkasan in Las Vegas, Icona Pop and Krewella at Stage 48 in New York City for WKTU KTUphoria and Tommie Sunshine at the Amsterdam Dance Event in The Netherlands. The duo also completed bi-annual tours throughout Asia and Australia. Their music has been supported by some of the biggest names in EDM such as Tiesto, Hardwell, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, and R3hab. Their presence in the blogosphere is equally as impressive with features in Dancing Astronaut, This Song Is Sick, & Gotta Dance Dirty. Additionally, the duo has hit the Billboard Dance and Hypem Popular Charts #1 spot multiple times with both their original productions and remixes. ### .
