Options REGIONAL POST-SECONDARY PLANNING NIGHT FORfair STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES Dear Parent/Guardian, The West Suburban Options Fair Consortium is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Options Fair for students with IEPs and/or 504 plans. This year’s program will take place on Thursday October 26th from 6:15p.m-8:30p.m. at Hinsdale South High School: 7401 Clarendon Hills Road, Darien, IL 60561. The Options Fair is a transition fair for high school and transition age students with all levels of special needs and their families. The goal of the fair is to connect students and their families with resources that are essential for their futures. Representatives from post-secondary educational institutions, alternative educational institutions and agencies will be present. The fair will include programs regarding post-secondary education, alternative educational opportunities, employment services, vocational day programs, government programs, legal resources, recreational opportunities, residential resources, and health resources. Throughout the evening, in addition to the resource fair, participants will have the opportunity to attend one or more 15-minute breakout sessions on topics such as college degree-earning programs, college experience/certificate programs and adult agency programs.
