RE-WRAP COVID RELIEF EFFORT

Countrywide infections have seen a drop and the situation seems to be improving slowly.

Daily morning yoga and breathing exercises for better health.

While cities are coping well, vaccine hesitancy remains high in rural areas but educational programs conducted by KOFPCL (FPO) are helping to get more people inoculated.

We continue to implement the following measures to provide a safe working environment for all our members across different locations :

- Daily disinfections of ofﬁces and units - Personal protective gear like masks, face shields are worn by everyone and sanitisers are stationed at entry points - Temperature checks are recorded every 2 hours - Members are discouraged from using public transport and make private travel arrangements. The ofﬁce provides a vehicle for daily commute to those who are unable to arrange their own transport. - 61 Oxygen concentrators have been distributed across rural hospitals and put into service immediately. So far it has helped more than 200 patients, including children. - Constantly monitoring food and basic requirements of farmers.

Our Vaccination drive continues with in partnership with Helpage India, who have a wider reach and bettern access to rural areas :

-150 members of our Mysore unit which includes their families have been inoculated with the Astra Zeneca’s Covishield vaccine - 45 members at our Bangalore ofﬁce (includes their families) have also been provided the same service. - Members at Gumballi are still hesitant in taking the vaccine but the inoculation drive in Mysore has worked as a handy example in educating them. Furthermore we are roping in inﬂuencers like local movie stars to give a talk on getting vaccinated.

We have managed to distribute Oxygen concentrators to rural hospitals, around Mysore / Gumballi & Tamil Nadu. This eﬀort is jointly funded and aided by Supraja (The family foundation).
