Exchange students should only purchase tickets once SKKU has confirmed the dates of arrival. Students who are nominated for the exchange are eligible for a travel grant from OIA. Nearest international Incheon International Airport (ICN) airport SKKU has housing designated for exchange students but may not be able to provide accommodation for all due to demand. At the Humanities and Social Housing Sciences Campus (Seoul), housing options are off-campus. Due date for Monday, September 30, 2019 applications to OIA • If you would like to apply for this exchange, please visit http://go.iu.edu/ASPIREexchanges • Click on Apply Now to access the application form. • Complete the form and upload a statement of intent. • Send the recommendation form link to the person who will supply a reference for you. It must be submitted by the application deadline. Application process • OIA staff will conduct interviews with select students (semi-finalists) to determine their suitability and preparedness for the exchange. Students must come to the interview prepared with a list of prospective courses they might like to take abroad. • OIA will nominate finalists to SKKU. Upon acceptance, SKKU will contact students to invite them to apply for admission. An academic transcript and copy of your passport will be required at this point. It is bordered to the north by Russia and China, to the east by the East Sea and Japan, and to the west by the Yellow Sea. In addition to the mainland, South Korea comprises around 3,200 islands. At 99,313 sq km, the country is slightly larger than Austria.     1 The History of Division in the Conception of National Literature Seong-su Kim (Sungkyunkwan University) 1. The purpose of this article is to analyze the how the conception of the term Minjok Moonhak (national literature) has been perceived differently in South and North Korea. In other words, this article will examine how the modern concept of ‘Moonhak,’ Korean equivalent for ‘literature,’ which was shared by both Koreas during the colonial period, is now perceived differently due to ideological differences under the ‘socialist vs. liberal democracy’ system on the Korean Peninsula after division. The discussion of the division of the conception of national literature is conversely based on the premise that both Koreas have historically shared the same concept. Notwithstanding the system of division, which has lasted for more than 70 years, the speech community composed of spoken (Korean/Joseon- eo) or written (Hangul/Joseon-mun) language 1 is still viable; each language does not require interpretation and translation. This is fortunate, given that there is a high possibility that the Korean Peninsula will be reunited someday. When discussing the national literature of South and North Korea, academic discussion will be impossible if one side is consistently regarded as orthodox and disparages the other. If each country does not recognize the value of the writers and works of its counterpart because the two Koreas are caught up in the realms of ideology, Korean cultural heritage that encompasses both North and South Korea will be greatly reduced. From the perspective of Conceptual History [Begriffsgeschichte], which historically analyzes certain concepts and terms, ‘Korean literature and Joseon literature’ are not synonyms for ‘national literature,’ but are rather antonyms.

Young children’s screen use is influenced by various factors; it is more directly dependent on family environment than school-aged children. Our study aimed to examine the effect of mother’s smartphone addition on their child’s smartphone use. Methods Participants were from the Kids Cohort for Understanding of internet addiction Risk factors in early childhood (K-CURE) study. Adult smartphone addiction self-diagnosis scale was used to evaluate smartphone addiction degree of mother. Child’s smartphone use was assessed by parental questionnaire. Using logistic regression analysis, we examine the association between mother’s smartphone addiction and child’s smartphone use. Results After adjusting for other factors, mother’s smartphone addiction is related with early smartphone exposure of children. High- risk group’s children was exposed to smartphone earlier than low risk group (adjusted OR, 0.418; p=0.021).
