ABOUT THE FOUNDATION The Australian Davis Cup Tennis Foundation was formed in September 1971 with the objective of providing financial assistance towards the cost of sending Australia’s team overseas for Davis Cup matches. Over the years, a policy has emerged of funding the development of young Australian players, showing Davis Cup potential, by direct player or official team assistance or, as currently, by financial support for selected Player Development Programs of Tennis Australia.
Within the above policy the Foundation has given financial support to individual players, squads, official teams, player development programmes, Satellite circuits, Futures and Challenger events in excess of $1,900,000. Such financial support has significantly upgraded the status of these circuits, events, and programmes.
Currently, the Foundation has around 1800 members from all Australian States and Territories and the following countries: New Zealand, USA, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, France, Switzerland, Malaysia, Singapore, Netherlands and Thailand. The membership fee entitles members to apply for "Priority Access" to purchase a limited number of tickets for the Australian Open. Members may also purchase tickets for all Davis Cup ties being played in Australia and, wherever possible, join a touring party to overseas Davis Cup ties. All members will receive an informative 'Members Newsletter' on at least three occasions each year.

Membership Benefits Support from new Members is invited to enable the Foundation to increase its financial assistance to the development of Australian tennis. Annual membership currently entitles you to: 1. Apply for priority tickets for events controlled by Tennis Australia including the Australian Open. Members can also apply for two free ground passes (Restrictions, conditions and administration fee apply). 2. Apply for tickets for all Australian Davis Cup matches played. (Restrictions and conditions may apply, depending on venue capacity and location). 3. Purchase Foundation merchandise including a distinctive Davis Cup tie for men, Davis Cup scarf for women and a Davis Cup cap. 4. Periodic newsletters that include commentary on the progress and development of our aspiring Davis Cup players, activities of the Foundation and the Annual Report Booklet. 5. Priority access to the Sydney and Brisbane International Tournaments and the Hopman Cup. 6. Join the touring party organised to overseas and interstate Australian Davis Cup ties.
