Inman suffered one rough inning, as Greenville plated three runs in the third to take a commanding lead. Inman buckled down following Record: 3-4 Season Highs that frame, striking out four over six innings and walking one. Over this seven-game road swing, the relief corps spun 24.1 innings and gave up just four earned runs (1.48 ERA) on 2019 VS. GRASSHOPPERS 11 hits while striking out 30 batters. The Power’s bullpen ERA currently sits at 2.79, 129 points below the starters. 0-4 Date Location Result RODRIGUEZ STARTING TO ROLL: Nick Rodriguez has reached base safely in 10 of his last 11 games, dating May 3 Greensboro 3-2, L back to May 5. In that four-game brooming, Greensboro outscored West Virginia July 13 Greensboro 7:00 p.m. by 13 runs combined, while several former Power players did a lot of the damage. Infielder Rodolfo Castro averaged July 14 Greensboro 4:00 p.m. .400 with three homers and six RBI, while outfielder Lolo Sanchez posted a .308 clip and first baseman Mason Martin July 31 Charleston 7:05 p.m. left the yard and drove in four runs. Meanwhile, Cam Alldred, Nicholas Economos, Braeden Ogle, Samuel Reyes and August 1 Charleston 7:05 p.m. Logan Stoelke tossed 14 total innings and surrendered just three runs (all by Economos) while striking out 21 batters. Broshuis* Abstract Collective bargaining has significantly altered the landscape of labor relations in organized baseball. While its impact on the life of the major league player has garnered much discussion, its impact on the majority of professional baseball players—those toiling in the minor leagues—has re- ceived scant attention. Yet an examination of every collective bargaining agreement between players and owners since the original 1968 Basic Agree- ment reveals that collective bargaining has greatly impacted minor league players, even though the Major League Baseball Players Association does not represent them. While a few of the effects of collective bargaining on the minor league player have been positive, the last two agreements have estab- lished a dangerous trend in which the Players Association consciously con- cedes an issue with negative implications for minor leaguers in order to receive something positive for major leaguers.
