2017 Holiday Checklist:

Go on Haunted Mansion Holiday - see what happens when two holidays collide! Visit It’s a Small World Holiday ride - around 250,000 lights have been added to the outside of the ride and 30,000 to the inside. Go on the “Jingle” Cruise - special decorations are added to the (along with a few extra funny holiday jokes from the tour guides). Watch the “A Christmas Fantasy Parade”- this is a must see for Christmas time in Disneyland. See the castle lighting with snow each night at 5:30pm. Ask a cast member to confirm the time for you, sometimes these can vary. See the 3 minute projection show at it’s a small world every 15 minutes starting at 5:15 pm-until the park closes each evening. Watch the amazing “Believe… In Holiday Magic!” Fireworks - a special holiday firework show. After the firework show be sure to stay around for the lighting ceremony at the castle which includes a brief “snow fall” of scented snow. Watch the tree lighting ceremony. Both parks have tree lighting ceremonies at 5pm every day. Carolers walk the parks with hand bells, singing carols while the gorgeous trees light up! See the World of Color - Season of Light show - a completely new holiday show for the 2017 holiday season! Watch the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! a celebration of Latino holiday culture taking place in the Paradise Garden area of Disney California Adventure. Attend the Phineas and Ferb Dance Party Holiday Edition - located in California Adventure. Your kids will love this! Meet Santa at The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in California Adventure. If you make Santa's nice list, you can discover your secret elf name! Also at the Redwood Creek Challenge have fun on a winter themed playground with games and outdoor fun. Play in REAL snow at Meet Olaf Himself located at the Olaf Snow Fest in Hollywood and California Adventure. Eat a Log at the Plaza Inn - a classic, delicious holiday treat! Eat the Peppermint Stick Ice Cream with Crushed Waffle Cone - located at the Gibson Girl Cafe on Main Street. Eat a candy cane at Candy Palace on Main Street or Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure. They are homemade and only a few small batches a day. They are so popular that guests can only buy two each. Take a walk down Main Street and soak up the Holiday magic. After all, Disneyland pumps Christmas peppermint smells into Main Street during the holidays. Who would want to miss that? Walk through Cars Land and Buena Vista Street and see the 50 ft. tall , and Cars inspired Christmas trees made of tires, hubcaps and cones down Route 66. Visit the Disneyland Resort hotels (Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, Disneyland Hotel, and Paradise Pier Hotel) and get in the Christmas spirit with the decorations and entertainment. Eat with Mickey at Paradise Pier’s PCH Grill.
