For more information visit www.intechopen.com Meet the editor Dr. Belakatte Parameshwarappa Nandeshwarappa holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Kuvempu University, Karnataka, India. He was a Postdoral fellow at the Institute of Fine Chemicals, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai. He has published many scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented his research papers at national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. He has edited five books, authored seven specialized books and five book chapters. His main areas of research are organic synthesis, process developments, and medicinal chemistry. He has guid- ed fifty-one dissertation theses for postgraduate students and is currently guiding Ph.D. students. He has fourteen years of teaching experience and three years of industry experience. Dr. Belakatte Nandeshwarappa received several awards such as young scientist, best poster presentation award in recognition for his outstanding contribution to education and research. He is currently working as an Asssociate Professor at DOS in the Chemistry Department, Davangere University, Davangere.
