Ohio State University Old Dominion University • Students engaged in synchronous instruction four hours a day, four days per week. Pennsylvania State University Pepperdine University • Planned projects, research, and presentations continued with minimal modification. Pratt Institute • Regular assessments ensured essential learning objectives were met. Purdue University Reed College • Grades were awarded consistent with our normal high standards. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Trinity resumed on-campus learning in August 2020 with five full days of instruction weekly and a Rhodes College Rice University synchronous remote learning option. Since approximately 95% of Trinity graduates attend four-year colleges upon graduation, emphasis is placed not only on teaching content, but also on developing lifelong learners who are adept at reading, writing, and critical reasoning. Senior Capstone Thesis: The Trinity curriculum culminates in a 15-20 page comprehensive worldview thesis. In the spring, seniors orally defend their theses before a formal panel of faculty and administrators. Educational Internship: Juniors and seniors who have an interest in teaching or have demonstrated excellence in a particular subject are partnered with teachers in Lower or Upper School, assisting in the classroom and ultimately preparing and presenting limited lessons. There are those who seek knowledge in order to serve, that is love.” Bernard of Clairvaux (1090-1153) Since the inception of Westminster Christian School in 1978, the mission of our school has been to partner with Christian parents to educate their children in the knowledge of God for the purpose of serving Him and glorifying Him in the culture in which we live. The administration, faculty, and staff who love the Lord seek to weave Biblical principles into all areas of the school experience. Our goal is to effectively prepare each of our students to succeed in all areas of their lives in order that they might affect their community for Jesus Christ. We believe that the daily testimony of our faculty and staff, their words and actions, contribute in an ongoing and significant way to the formation of students' thinking. It is within the school setting and through classroom instruction that students learn how to view the world through God’s principles, and thereby become better equipped to make decisions formed by God’s values. At Westminster Christian School, we believe it is important for all students to receive a high- quality, Christ-centered, academic education.
