Whereas, it is considered necessary to ensure smooth flow of vehicular traffic and Agnate processions in , I, Brijesh Singh, Addl. Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Mumbai, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 115 of M.V. Act 1988, (Act No.59 of 1988) read with Government Notification No.MVA 0589/CR 1061/TRA-2, dated 19.05.1990 do hereby order the following traffic regulations on Friday ( 02nd September,) Monday ( 05th September, ) Tuesday ( 06th September, ) Wendsday ( 07th September,) and on Sunday ( 11th September,) 2011, from 12.00 hrs., till 06.00 hrs. (all these days) (I) CLOSURE OF ROADS :- 34 • PYDHUNIE TRAFFIC DIVISION 1. Jeenabhai Mulji Rathod Marg : Will be closed for vehicular traffic, from its Jn. with Shivdas Chapsi Marg to P. D’Mello Road Jn.

• KALBADEVI AND TARDEV TRAFFIC DIVISION 2. V. P. Road : From Cawasji Patel Tank to S.V.P. Road Jn. and its Jn. with Dr. Bhadkamkar Marg ( Lamington Road except for vehicles carrying Ganpati Idols and proceeding towards Chowpatty ) shall be closed for vehicular traffic. 3. Jagannath Shanker Sheth Marg (Girgaum Road) : From Princess Street Jn. to S.V.P. Road Jn. (Opera House) will be closed for vehicular traffic. 4. Dr. Jaykar Marg (Thakurdwar Marg) : From its Jn. with Jagannath Shanker Sheth Marg to its Jn. with Maharshi Karve Road (Queen's Road) shall be closed for vehicular traffic. 5. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Marg (Sandhurst Road) : (a) Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Marg :- From its jn. with Dr. N.A. Purandare Marg (Marine Drive) to its Jn. with Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House) and further upto its jn. with Raja Ram Mohan Rai Marg, Prarthana Samaj will be closed for vehicular traffic. (b) Wadi Bunder bridge shall be closed , West to East, for vehicular traffic. 6. Pandita Ramabai Marg : From its Jn with Dr. N.A. Purandare Marg to Nyaymurti Sitaram Patkar Marg (Hughes Road) shall be closed for vehicular traffic. • NAGPADA TRAFFIC DIVISION 7. Sane Guruji Marg (Chinchpokli Bridge) : Will be closed for vehicular traffic from its Jn. with Dr.B.A.Rd (Garamkhada Market) to Aurthor Road Naka. • BYCULLA TRAFFIC DIVISION 8. Dr. B. A. Road : Will be closed for traffic from its Jn.with Bharatmata to Bawala compound ( D. K. Road Jn.) both side. 9. Dr. S. S. Tilak Bridge Will be closed from both sides for vehicular traffic from Khodadad Circle ( T.T.) to Kotwal Garden. • CHEMBUR TRAFFIC DIVISION 20. Hemu Kalani Marg : Will be closed for vehicular traffic from its Jn.with Umarshi Bappa Jn. to Vasant Park Jn. • GHATKOPAR TRAFFIC DIVISION 21. L. B. S. Marg, Kurla (W) : North bound traffic on this road will be closed from Kurla Depot Junction up to Ghatkopar Link Road Junction. South bound carriage way will be used for both bound traffic by putting drums and separating the lanes. 22. Ghatkopar Link Road will be closed for North bound vehicular traffic of Vasant Dada Patil Marg and for all types of vehicles towards . • MULUND TRAFFIC DIVISION 23. Bhattipada Marg, Bhandup (W): will be closed for all kinds of vehicular traffic, from its junction of Jangal Mangal Road, up to its junction with LBS Marg. 24. Jangal Mangal Marg, Bhandup : will be closed for all kinds of vehicular traffic from its Junction with Tembipada Road up to Sarvoday Nagar Society. 25. Din Dayal Updhyaya, Marg ( Dumping Road ) Mulund (W) :- will be closed for all kinds of vehicular traffic from Ambedkar Chowk to its Junction with LBS Marg. 26. L. B. S. Marg, Mulund (W) : North bound traffic will be closed from Modela light signal junction up to Toll Naka. South bound carriage way will be used for both way traffic by dividing in two lanes. 27. Jangal Mangal Road, Tembi Pada Road Jn. will be closed for vehicular traffic up to Shivaji Talav 28. L. B. S. Marg , Tank Road Jn. will be closed for vehicular traffic up to Shivaji Talav. 29. Sarvoday Nagar, Jangal Mangal Road will be closed for vehicular traffic up to Shivaji Talav.

• SAKINAKA TRAFFIC DIVISION 30. Aadi Shankaracharya Marg (Powai) : Will be closed for vehicular traffic from its Jn. with Jal Vayu Vihar Road to its Jn. with Arcade Avenue Marg (Pawarwadi). • D. N. NAGAR TRAFFIC DIVISION 31. Shamrao Parulekar Marg, Vile Parle (W) :- Shall be closed for vehicular traffic between Indravadan Oza Marg to Vaikunthlal Mehta Marg, except BEST buses going towards North. 32. Janardhan Mahtre Road :- will be closed for vehicular traffic From upto Moragaon. • GOREGOAN TRAFFIC DIVISION 33. Arey Colony Rd: will be closed for all kinds of vehicular traffic, from its Junction with Unit No.2 to Unit No.5 except for Ganpati procession. • KANDIVALI TRAFFIC DIVISION 34. M. G. Road, Kandivali (W) : will be closed for vehicular traffic from its Jn. with Boby Shoping Center to its Jn. with Datta Mandir Road from West to East.

Prakash Pethe Marg will be closed for South bound vehicular traffic and existing one way between Pandey Marg and Colaba Post Office will be both ways. 2. Rambhau Salgaonkar Marg : From its Jn. with Shahid Bhagat Singh Marg to its Jn. with Nathalal Parekh Marg will be closed for West bound vehicular traffic.

• PYDHUNIE TRAFFIC DIVISION 3 P. D’Mello Road : From Kakalij Chowk to Wadi Bunder South carriage way is reserved for Ganapati immersion vehicles. The South bound vehicular traffic from Kakalij Chowk to Wadi Bunder can use the North bound carriage way. 4 Shivdas Chapsi Marg : Will remain closed for South bound traffic from Jinabhai Mulji Rathod Marg Jn. to Noor Baug Jn. i.e. One way for North bound vehicular traffic from Noorbaug Jn. to Jeenabhai Mulji Rathod Marg Jn.

• TARDEO TRAFFIC DIVISION 5. Nyaymurthi Sitaram Patkar Marg (Hughes Road) : From its Jn. with Pandita Ramabai Marg to its Jn. with S.V.P. Road will be closed for South bound traffic. 6. French Bridge : Will be closed for South bound vehicular traffic i.e. "No Entry" from Nyaymurthi Sitaram Patkar Marg (Hughes Road). 7. Pandita Ramabai Marg : From its Jn. with Nyaymurthi Sitaram Patkar Marg (Hughes Road) upto Nana Chowk will be closed to West bound vehicular traffic i.e. "No Entry" from Nana Chowk. 8. Kennedy Bridge : Will be closed for South bound traffic i.e. "No Entry" from Nana Chowk. 9. Grant Road Bridge : Will be closed for West bound vehicular traffic i.e. "No Entry" from Dr. Bhadkamkar Marg. 10. Pathe Bapurao Marg (Falkland Road) : Will be closed for East bound vehicular traffic i.e. "No Entry" from Tardeo Circle. 11. Javji Dadaji Marg (Tardeo Road) : Will be One way from Nana Chowk to Tardeo Circle i.e. "No Entry" from Tardeo Circle. 12. Walkeshwar Road : Will be closed for vehicular traffic proceeding down the hill from Teen Batti to Band Stand (Except for BEST buses & Ganpati processions).

• NAGAPADA TRAFFIC DIVISION 13. Mumbai Central Bridge: Will be closed for vehicular traffic from Mumbai Central to Tardeo Chowk. 14. Bellasis Bridge : Will be closed for West bound vehicular traffic i.e. "No Entry" from Mumbai Central Junction-Alexandra Jn.-Nagapada Jn. 15. Dr. Bhadkamkar Marg: Will be closed for vehicular traffic from Mumbai Central to Navjivan Jn. 16. Dr. Anandrao Nair Marg : Will be closed for vehicular traffic from Satrasta jn. to Maratha Mandir, Mumbai. 17. Sane Guruji Marg: Will be closed for vehicular traffic from Chichapokali to Satrasta Jn. 18. R. S. Nimkar Marg : Will be One way for North bound traffic from Balaram Street Jn. to Alexandra Cinema Junction i.e. "No Entry" from Alexandra Cinema.

• BHOIWADA TRAFFIC DIVISION 19. Mumbai Marathi Granth Sangralaya Marg : From its Jn. with G.D. Ambekar Marg up to its Jn. with Dr. B.A. Road shall be one way for West bound traffic. 20. G. D. Ambekar Marg : G.D.Ambekar Marg From its Jn. with Mane Master Chowk to its Jn. with Sant Gora Kumbhar Chowk shall be one way. 21. Dr. E. Borges Marg: Dr. E. Borges Marg From its Jn with Khanolkar Chowk to its Jn. with Supari Baug shall be on way. 22. S. S. Rao Road : From its Jn. with Aacharya Donde Marg up to Jijibhoy lane to its Jn. with Gopal Naik Chowk shall be one way for South bound traffic. 23. Aacharya Donde Marg : Dr. B.A. Road From its Jn. with Parel T.T. upto its Jn.with Khanolkar Chowk shall be one way. 24. Mahadeo Palav Marg (Curry Road Bridge) : Will be closed for East bound vehicular traffic from its Jn. with N.M. Joshi Marg to Dr.B.A.Road (Bharatmata jn.) i.e. "No Entry" from N.M. Joshi Marg (Shingate Master Chowk.) 25. Elphinstone Bridge (Jagannath Bhatankar Marg) : From its Jn. with Dr. B.A.Road (Parel T.T.) to its Jn. with Senapati Bapat Marg (Tulsi Pipe Road) will be closed for West bound vehicular traffic(Entry only from Senapati Bapat Marg). 26. Jerbai Wadia Marg: Dr. B.A.Road from its Jn. with Parel T.T. upto its Jn. with Mane Master Chowk will be closed for North bound traffic. 27. Dr. B. A. Road : From Maheshwari Udyan (King Circle) to its Jn. with Supari Baug will be closed for South bound vehicular traffic (South bound carriage way will be used for North bound vehicular traffic, since the North bound carriage way will be reserved for Ganpati procession only).

• TRAFFIC DIVISION 28. Dr. Annie Beasant Road : Will be closed for South bound vehicular traffic from Worli Naka to Haji Ali Jn. Vehicular traffic is diverted from Worli Naka on Dr.E. Moses Road to its Jn. with Mahalaxmi Railway Station via Keshavrao Khadey Marg to its Jn with Haji Ali. 29. N. M. Joshi Marg : From its Jn. with Ganpatrao Kadam Marg to its Jn. with Senapati Bapat Marg (Wadacha Naka) will be one way for vehicular traffic.

• EASTERN SUBERB :- 09 • MAHIM TRAFFIC DIVISION

30. Veer Savarkar Marg (Cadel Road) : From its Jn. with L.J. Road ( Mahim Jn.) to its Jn.with S.K.Bole Marg (Siddhi Vinayak Jn.) will be closed for South bound vehicular traffic including BEST buses. North bound traffic will proceed from South bound carriageway. 31. Takandas Kataria Road (Lady Hardinge Road) : Will be closed for West bound vehicular traffic including BEST buses between L. J. Road and Veer Savarkar Marg ( Cadel Road ). The existing one way will be reversed in West to East Direction. 32. Bal Govind Das Road : Will be One way from its Jn. with J.K.Sawant Marg to its Jn. with L. J .Road. 33. J. K. Sawant Marg : From its Jn. with N.C. Kelkar Marg to its Jn. with Bal Govind Das Marg will be closed for South bound traffic. 34. S. K. Bole Marg : Shall be One way from Hanuman Temple to Portuguese Church for South bound vehicular traffic i.e. "No Entry" from Portuguese Church to Hanuman Temple.

• MATUNGA TRAFFIC DIVISION

35. Tilak Road : From Dadar T.T. to its Jn. with Katrak Road shall be one way for East bound vehicular traffic. 36. Katrak Road : From its Jn. with Don Bosco Chowk to its Jn. with Marathi Granth Sangralaya Marg ( Naigaon Cross Road ) will be closed for North bound vehicular traffic. 37. Mankikar Marg : From its Jn. with Duncan Causeway up to Chuna Bhatti railway crossing will be one way Northwards i.e. "No Entry" from Chuna Bhatti railway Station.

• MULUND TRAFFIC DIVISION

38. Tank Road, Bhandup (W) :- This road is one way from Shivaji Talav i.e. from its junction with Jangal Mangal Road up to its junction with LBS Marg. Traffic is diverted from Bhandup Gamdevi Road.

• WESTERN SUBERB :- 14 • SAKINAKA TRAFFIC DIVISION

39. Aadi Shankeracharya Marg : East bound traffic from its Jn. with Saki Vihar Road to its Jn. with Jal Vayu Vihar up to its Jn. with Arcade Avenue will be one way for vehicular traffic. East carriageway of Arcade Avenue Road to its Jn. of Hiranandani Garden will be closed for vehicular traffic. West carriageway will be used for vehicular traffic.

• TRAFFIC DIVISION

40. Juhu Road : Shall be One way for west bound vehicular traffic from its Jn. with S.V. Road up to Juhu Tara Road Jn i.e. "No Entry" from Juhu Tara Road.

• D. N. NAGAR TRAFFIC DIVISION

41. Vaikuntlal Mehta Road ; Vile Parle (W): Entry of all type of vehicles on V.M.Road West Bond from S.V.Road & V.M.Road junction to V.M.Road & Juhu Tara Road junction (Tulip star junction) on V.M.Road i.e. from East to West shall be prohibited. 42. Indravadan Oza Road : No Entry to all type of vehicles Except BEST Buses on Indravadan Oza Road from its junction with Guru Nanak Road up to Gulmohar Road ( West to East) shall be prohibited. 43. Irala Society Marg : Irla Society Marg will be ‘One way ’ from S.V.Road to Gulmohar Road junction. 44. Gulmohar Road : No Entry to all type of vehicles on Gulmohar Road its junction with V. M. Road up to Indravadan Oza Road ( South to North) shall be prohibited. 45. C. D. Barfiwala Road : Barfiwala Road will be ‘One way ’ from Gulmohar Road junction to S.V.Road for all type of vehicles (wherever required ) 46. Jai Prakash Road : A) J. P. Road from its junction of Ceaser Road up to Indian Oil jn will remain open for vehicular traffic in both direction. B) J. P. Road west bound will remain open for vehicular traffic from its Junction of Indian Oil Junction to Sagar Kutir. Thereafter the vehicular traffic will take east bound road to go to Versova Jetty up to Ganga Bhuvan. Returning crowd and vehicles from Versova Jetty will take, west bound J.P.Road up to J.P.Road & Yari Road (Ganga Bhavan) junction. Simillarly it will take left turn at this junction to right on Panch Marg, then right turn on Fishreis Univercity Road, upto Vateshwar Mandir on J. P. Road. Thereafter they will take west bound J. P. Road up to Nana Nani park eastern road, then left turn on Lowprice Lane, upto Bon Bon lane. Returning crowed & vehicles going towards Jogeshwari will take left on Bon Bon lane & right to go to Vileparle & Santacruz. C) Entry to Ganpati processions on J. P. Road West bound, from Indian Oil junction to Vateshwar Mandir i.e. from East to West shall be prohibited. Ganpati processions on J.P.Road west bound are diverted from J.P.Road to Link Road (Indian Oil) junction towards Versova Link Road, then right turn on P.K.Sawant Road upto Nana Nani Park then right turn on Nana Nani park western road, then left turn on J.P.Road to go to Sagar Kutir. D) Entry to Ganpati processions on J. P. Road west bound from Char Banglow junction to Vateshwar Mandir, i.e. from East to West shall be prohibited. Ganpati processions on J. P. Road West bound are diverted from J.P.Road Char Banglow junction left turn on Char Banglow Market road, then right turn on P.K.Sawant road, upto Nana Nani Park then right turn on Nana Nani park western road, then left turn on J. P. Road. 47. P. K. Sawant Road : Will remain open for both way vehicular traffic, i.e. from East to West & West to East from its Junction with Link road and Arban Tadka hotel Junction. 48. Juhu Tara Road : Shall be one way for North bound vehicular traffic from its Jn. with Juhu Road upto its Jn. with A.B. Nair Road i.e. "No Entry" from A.B. Nair Road. 49. Yari Road :- A) The north bound carriageway of the Yari Road from its junction with the lane leading to the beach near Sagar Kutir upto Yari Road signal will be reserved for the devotees and for the vehicles carrying idols. B) No Entry for all vehicles on north bound carriageway of the Yari Road from the lane leading to the beach near Sagar Kutir upto Yari Road signal. 50. Ceaser Road (-West) : From its Jn. with Jai Prakash Road to its Jn. with S.V.Road shall be closed for West bound vehicular traffic i.e. "Entry" only from Jai Prakash Road. 51. Versova Road : Will be One way from B.M.C. Garden to Yari Road.

• BORIVALI TRAFFIC DIVISION

52. Lokmanya Tilak Marg : Will be closed for East bound vehicular traffic i.e. "No Entry" from Link Road Jn. to Babhai Naka. East bound vehicular traffic is diverted from Link Road Jn via Yogi Nagar, Eksar Road.

(IV) PARKING RESTRICTIONS :- 60 Parking of vehicles along the following roads would be prohibited from 11.00 a.m. to 6.00a.m. (Next day) on all these days mentioned above. • COLABA TRAFFIC DIVISION 1.
