State High School Track and Field Championship Meet. Hugh Hindman, Director of Athletics, Ohio State University Games Committee Report In accordance with the National Federation Track and Field Rule 5-6, the Games Committee for the 1984 Boys and Girls State Track and Field Meet assigned heats and lanes according to the following procedure. 1 —800 M. Run, 1600 M. Run, 3200 M. Run, 3200 M. Two regional winners were seeded first and second in each semi-final heat and two regional runners-up were seeded third and fourth. Members of the Games Committee are named in the listing of the 1984 State Track and Field Meet Officials. The Games Committee as well as all officials should be commended for their dedication and integrity in officiating this meet. Congratulations on another fine season of high school track and field in Ohio. The high school athletes continue to get better and better. This is due in large measure to the dedication of coaches and officials.
