CITY OF ARANSAS PASS AGENDA MEMORANDUM City Council Meeting of October 7, 2019 Date: October 3, 2019 To: Mayor Gomez and Council Members From: Gary Edwards, City Manager _____________________________________________________________________ Title: Nomination to San Patricio County Appraisal District Board of Directors PURPOSE: Consider and Act on Resolution nominating to the San Patricio County Appraisal District Board of Directors. The San Patricio County Appraisal District is presenting candidates for nomination to the Board of Directors. The voting entitlement for the City of Aransas Pass is 144 votes and each entity may nominate up to five (5) individuals, one for each seat on the board. The total number of votes cast must be equal to the City’s voting entitlement. The nominees are: John Curlee Bill T. Wilson II Dr. Ann Matula Billie Jo Tennill Dalia Sanchez, - Voting Ex-Officio Member The ballot is due by October 15, 2019. She worked for the City of Odem for 57 years. Retired from the City of Odem. She served as the Appraisal Review Board Chairman for all the six years she was on the Board. She also served on the San Patricio Municipal Water District Board for 42 years. She currently is on the Odem Economic Development Board which she has served for 3 months. She writes grants on her spare time.
