Curriculum Vitae Curriculum Vitae Mustafa Hadi Berkeley Research Group (Hong Kong) Limited 8th Floor, Two Exchange Square, Central, Hong Kong Direct: +852.2297.2271 [email protected] Mustafa Hadi is the Head of Disputes and International Arbitration for Greater China and North Asia, and is based in BRG’s Hong Kong office. He is an experienced consultant on economic, financial, accounting and strategic business issues, and specialises in addressing issues of valuation and damages in the context of commercial disputes. Mr. Hadi has been instructed as an expert witness in both national courts and international arbitrations, and is experienced in giving oral testimony. He has worked on cases involving the valuation of businesses, shares and intangible assets, and the quantification of complex damages arising from contractual, shareholder, joint venture, post-acquisition and intellectual property disputes. His experience spans matters in the courts of the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Sin gapore, Australia, Bermuda, and the Bahamas, and arbitrations involving the ICC, UNCITRAL, DIAC, HKIAC and CIETAC. Mr. Hadi is “highly rated” by Who’s Who Legal in its 2016 guide to leading experts in international arbitration. In addition to his contentious work, Mr. Hadi provides valuation advice for strategic, restructuring and tax purposes and has advised clients on corporate strategy, commercial due diligence, market analysis, financial modelling, and on economic and financial issues in regulatory matters. Mr. Hadi holds an MA (Hons) in Physics from Cambridge University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Academy of Experts. He regularly presents at industry events and to law firms on damages and valuation issues, and has acted as an expert witness in advocacy workshops organised by the Federation for International Arbitration Advocacy. Mr. Hadi has also been a guest lecturer on the LLM in Arbitration & Dispute Resolution course at Hong Kong University. Mr Hadi has been based in Hong Kong since 2012. Prior to joining BRG, he was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Until its acquisition by FTI Consulting in 2011, he was a Senior Managing Consultant in the Financial Advisory Services practice of LECG. The parties intend to continue negotiations using their best efforts to achieve an agreed-upon Cost Neutral Plan, and will update the Court at the status hearing on June 2, 2016, on those negotiations.
