Unions and employee associations, like most organizations, change officers and officials through elections, resignations, retirements, or deaths. They move their headquarters, reorganize or add to their functions, and merge with other organizations. This Supplement includes all such changes that have come to the attention of the Bureau since the 1975 Directory was issued. The changes were obtained from a variety of sources, including publications of the organizations. Some labor organizations informed the Bureau by letter. The Bureau is grateful for this practice because it improves the usefulness of the Directory by providing accurate and timely information. Information in this supplement is current through February 2, 1978. Nine organizations that were listed in the basic Directory have been deleted and eight organizations have been added to this Supplement as follows:
