Postgradua • Candidates Have to Upload Their Relevant Counselling University of Lucknow, Lucknow Postgraduate Programs Guidelines IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS Candidates have to upload their relevant documents on the UnLOC portal https://lkouniv.ac.in/online- counselling/ Candidates who have already uploaded the documents between October 19 - 31, 2020 have the option to edit them if required. Those candidates who were unable to upload their documents when the portal was opened from October 19 – 31, 2020 due to any reason can upload them till 5:00 PM on November 6, 2020. The first cutoff list will likely be declared after 5:00 PM on November 7, 2020. Candidates whose names are in the first cutoff list can pay their admission fees thereafter. All candidates are advised to keep visiting the University website regularly for updates.     CHAITANYA JYOTI MUSEUM INTRODUCTION: Chaitanya Jyoti Museum was built to commemorate the 75th Birthday of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Avatar of the Yuga ( the Era). Flanked by rocky hillside and verdant greenery with tall trees, Chaitanya Jyoti appears to visitors like something out of the pages of a fairy tale. Its grandeur and originality is stunning. The purpose of Chaitanya Jyoti is not merely to provide a narration of the life of the Avatar of the Age, but also to bring out the purpose of his advent and how Humanity has benefited and will continue to benefit by His advent in years to come. It was a project sponsored by overseas devotees and conceived, developed and presented under the leadership of Sri Indulal Shah, the then International Chairman Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation world wide. The building houses an exhibition on Baba's Life and Mission, which would inspire, motivate and encourage devotees to follow His teachings and put them into practice. A level site of 65m frontage and 60m depth and 4m above road level had to be created out of a sloping hillside. To achieve this, entailed 3 to 4m of filling of one third of the area and removal of 5000 m3 of rock from the remaining area. The building is 27m higher than the road level, with a covered area of 6000 m2. The architect, Goy Say Tong of Malaysia, designed a unique structure with a fusion of many cultures and architectural styles. The dominant architectural feature is a roof similar to that of a Chinese Emperor's Palace, flanked by two Moorish domes made of Titanium, crowning the semicircular ends which are adorned with Gothic arches and two lift shafts with Japanese style roofs.
