Call for offers for services Psychoeducational program (designing and delivering workshops)

Description: As a part of the project Youth for Change: Building resilience of Serbian youth through engagement leadership and development of their cognitive and social-emotional skills, funded by Hedayah International Centre of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism, PIN is opening a call for following services: • designing psychoeducational workshops • delivering psychoeducational workshops The aim of psychoeducational program is to improve youth’s cognitive, social and emotional well-being and resilience, ensure safe space for sharing ideas and challenges they are facing, facilitate adaptive coping strategies, support them in exploring their individual and group identity as well as questioning social pressures they are sometimes exposed to from their communities, encourage tolerance and respect. The expected format is ten (10) workshop modules covering the topics of radicalization, prevention of violent extremism, tolerance & acceptance, social integration, cohesion and importance of cultural exchange, etc. The program is aimed at youth 17-19 years old to be delivered in groups of 25-35 participants. The program is planned to be implemented at three (3) high schools in Belgrade one (1) high school in Sjenica and one (1) high school in Tutin, covering two groups of youth per school.

The service contractor(s) for designing psychoeducational workshop program is expected to: • conduct desk research on existing psychoeducational programs with the same/similar objective • familiarize with research conducted in the local setting (to be provided by PIN) • design an evidence-based program for psychoeducational workshops • present the program and train workshop facilitators on how to deliver the program

The service contractor(s) for delivering psychoeducational workshop program is expected to: • participate in the training on psychoeducational workshop program • familiarize with materials and develop detailed implementation plan for each group of students • deliver at least 10 modules (i.e. full program for one group) at one school • conduct evaluation after each module (in line with PIN’s instructions) • write a brief report after each module (in line with PIN’s instructions) • write a comprehensive report about the workshops after full program is completed

The psychoeducational program should be conducted between 01th of September 2019 and 30th of March 2020.

Eligibility:

The call is open to individuals and groups with relevant educational background (i.e. social sciences, psychology, education, etc.) and experience (informal education, working with youth, etc.). The offer must include:

• the service(s) to be provided (A – designing psychoeducational workshop program; B – delivering psychoeducational workshop program; or C – both) • Locations: A – Belgrade, B -Sjenica; C- Tutin (one service provider can cover one or more locations) • short narrative description of the workplan and motivation to participate in the project (up to 500 words) • CV highlighting the experience relevant for this project • The financial offer in the following format:
