After a TEAMWORK, twomonth break which culminated in the IHF Men’s World Championship, the time has finally come to shift the focus from the national teams to the continental top flight. FAIRNESS There were as many as 108 Champions League players present in Germany and Denmark and no fewer than 14 gold medallists from Denmark have returned to their clubs determined to carry on riding the wave of success in the Europe's premium competition. & RESPECT In total, 40 EHF Champions League stars claimed a medal. The situation in Groups A and B is wide open and all 16 participants still have a chance to claim a place in the knockout stage. Two European powerhouses dominate in the competition after 10 rounds: Barça Lassa enter the home straight of the group phase with a five-point lead ahead of Vardar in Group A, while Paris Saint-Germain Handball, the only club with a full set of medals from the World Championship, sit atop Group B. However, anything can happen in the last four rounds and a pack of fierce rivals still eye the direct ticket to the quarter-finals reserved only for the group winners. A dramatic fight can be expected also in the lower half of the rankings as all teams will certainly keep on fighting until the dying moments of the games in the last round for their chance to reach the Last 16. Meanwhile, the four most successful teams of Groups C/D are about to battle it out for two Last 16 tickets as Sporting CP take on Dinamo Bucuresti and Orlen Wisla Plock face Bjerringbro-Silkeborg in the play-off matches. Das Ende unserer jüngsten Sechs-Tages-Reise hatten wir uns sicherlich anders vorgestellt. Wir hatten am Sonntag in Zaporozhye alle Möglichkeiten. Letz- tendlich haben wir diese Partie aufgrund unserer eigenen Fehler verloren. Wenn wir uns nun die Tabelle anschauen, blicken wir auf ein sehr enges Bild und eine eigene Position, die wir uns so nicht vorgestellt haben. Wir haben aber noch alles in der eigenen Hand und wollen gegen den RK Celje unbedingt gewinnen. Zwar hatten wir nur einen Tag zur Vorbereitung, aber dem Gegner geht es nicht viel anders. Celje hat auch am Sonntag gespielt und gegen Szeged verloren. Wir haben ein Heimspiel – und das ist sicherlich ein Vorteil. Wir freuen uns, endlich wieder in der FLENS-ARENA auflaufen zu dürfen. Unsere Zuschauer sind sehr wichtig für uns, und das werden sie bestimmt auch dies- mal unterstreichen. Wir erwarten ein schweres Spiel. Im Herbst hatten wir in Celje verloren, weil wir zu viele freie Chancen ausließen und nicht unser Optimum erreichten. Wir können es wesentlich besser – und das wollen wir heute zeigen.     Prijatelji RK SVIŠ! V preteklih sezonah smo dosegali odlične dosežke in v takšnem pričakovanju smo pospremili pričetek sezone 2012/13. Toda po prvih odličnih dosežkih so se ponudile priložnosti po še boljših dosežkih. Takšnih o kakršnih smo v preteklosti le sanjali … Najodmevnejši uspeh je beležila članska ekipa ki se je uvrstila na 8. mesto v državnem prvenstvu, kar je do sedaj najvišja uvrstitev članske ekipe v 1. ligi. Prav tako se je članska ekipa uvrstila na finalni turnir v pokalnem tekmovanju. Tu res dvakrat izgubila, a vsekakor opozorila, da se RK SVIŠ uvršča na rokometni zemljevid z debelejšimi črkami. Uspešni so bili tudi najmlajši, mlajši dečki B, ki so postali državni prvaki. To je prvi naslov državnih prvakov v klubski zgodovini. Izjemno. Naše mlade ekipe so se uvrstile na fantastično tretje mesto v točkovanju za naj klub v tekmovanju mladih za sezono 2012/13. Za Celjem in Škofjo Loko. Težko ponovljivi dosežki, pa vendar lahko bolj smelo gledamo v prihodnost. Dosežki so plod trdega dela igralcev, trenerjev, vodstva kluba in podpore lokalne skupnosti. Hvala vsem. V pričakovanju nove sezone Marjan Potokar, tajnik RK SVIŠ Ivančna Gorica 1 MINI ROKOMET V omenjenem tekmovanju (Ljubljana - II skupina), kjer so imeli pravico nastopa igralci letnik 2002 in mlajši, je RK SVIŠ PG zastopalo sedem šolskih ekip: Podružnična šola Višnja Gora, Podružnična šola Zagradec, Podružnična šola Ambrus, Podružnična šola Krka, Osnovna šola Ferda Vesela in dve ekipi Osnovne šole Stična. Poleg omenjenega tekmovanja je potekalo še interno tekmovanje za mlajše igralce (2003 in mlajši). Sezona 2012/2013 je enajsta sezona projekta »MINI ROKOMET« v kateri je tekmovalo 60 ekip deklic in 90 ekip dečkov.
