The NBC show won its fourth awards in the variety sketch series, directing and production design categories.

CinemaCon SIGGRAPH SMPTE AFCIprodu Globalction Directory design.  On Tuesday during the Creative Arts Emmys' virtual  presentation, director Don Roy King claimed his 10th Emmy for directing a variety series, having won the category each year since 2010, except in 2016.

The production design honorees included Eugene Lee, age 81, who has been with the series since its 1975 premiere. This was his fifth Emmy and 16th nomination for SNL.

This was the fifth Emmy and 15th nomination for the series for Akira Yoshimura, and the fifth Emmy and 13th nomination for Keith Ian Raywood (he won a sixth Emmy for designing the 2008 MTV Music Video Awards). For N. Joseph DeTullio, it was his fourth win and 12th nomination for the series.

On behalf of the team, Raymond dedicated their Emmys to Hal Willner, a longtime SNL music producer, who died in April.

This year, SNL was nominated for a total of 15 Emmys. Tuesday's virtual Creative Arts Emmy presentation was the second of five; it will be followed by virtual presentations on Sept 16, 17 and 19.
