Teams from Clevedon, Beachlands, Pointways and Papatoetoe Pony Clubs competed against other clubs at the Auckland area showjumping champs held at Clevedon Pony Club on Anzac Day. The annual competition sees teams of riders from each club compete to acculumate the most points from their showjumping rounds. A composite team of riders won the Abbott’s Cup pony class, and after that all the glory was claimed by Papatoetoe Pony Club. PPC won the Abbott’s Cup hack class, the President’s Trophy and their teams placed first, second and third in the Jigsaw teams event (pictured above).
