COACHING EXPERIENCE University of North Carolina at Greensboro – Men’s Basketball Office – April 2012 to Present Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach  Developed recruiting relationships throughout the state of North Carolina, to include the Triad, Triangle, Charlotte, Fayetteville, Wilmington, and other southeastern locations such as West Palm Beach, FL and a select region of Georgia.  Recruited three high school athletes from the state of North Carolina to UNC Greensboro for the first time since 2004.  Perform routine tasks of an assistant coach: attending regularly scheduled recruiting and game planning meetings, creating and presenting scouting reports for multiple games throughout the season and utilize basketball knowledge to grade individual performances of players following each game.  Oversee and design preseason conditioning and individual workouts to enhance skill development for perimeter and post players including Tevon Saddler who was named SoCon Freshman of the Year in 2013-14 and Trevis Simpson who was selected as a 1st Team All-SoCon Player for the 2012-13 season.  Monitor academic progression of academic group and serve as a mentor to motivate players on and off the court  Participate as camp leader for UNC Greensboro basketball camp to provide skill training and support to youth of local community.

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – Men’s Basketball Office – November 2011 to April 2012 Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach  Prepared and assisted with execution of strength training workout plans for current men’s basketball players.  Organized scheduled weigh-ins and chart growth and development of individual players.  Provided correct example for each exercise and lifting techniques being performed in the weight room.  Led stretching drills before and after practice and games for all players.  Attended regularly scheduled coaches’ meetings and team functions to learn the fundamentals from a staff perspective of .  Attended film grading sessions after the games to evaluate the players performances and areas for improvement  Studied techniques and skills utilized by each assistant coach as they prepared a scouting report for different opponents throughout the season.  Learned from coaching staff the responsibilities of hosting prospective student athletes that visit the University.  Observed communication skills and tactics of coaches used during daily practices and weekly games.  Received guidance and advice in coaching from Head Basketball Coach Roy Williams.  Led individual workouts for four first round NBA draft picks - , , and .
