Ryan, Chairman, Ryan's Tourist Holdings, Dublin relating to a chapter on "Administration 1967". Also included is an assessment of the chapter by John Briggs, Assistant Secretary of the General Synod. 12-17. Letters principally to and from the Department of the Taoiseach and the Department of Education seeking a grant in aid of publication. 4. Correspondence and papers of Allen Figgis relating to the publishing of the book, 1968-1978 1-51. Miscellaneous correspondence relating mainly to the distribution of review and complimentary copies and the arranging of a press conference. Also referees' reports (Canon David Clarke & Dean Victor Griffin); correspondence between Allen Figgis and Gwynne Stirling, directors of Figgis Publishers, relating to a contract with Michael Hurley; an exchange of letters between Allen Figgis and Cardinal William Conway seeking to stimulate more involvement by the Roman Catholic hierarchy. 62-79. Letters to and from church leaders, (including the , , the Bishop of Limerick, Robert Wyse Jackson, and the Moderator Designate of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, Dr James Haire), politicians (including the Minister of Finance, Charles J. Haughey), civil servants, academics and schools relating to their attendance at an Ecumenical Act of Worship in Gonzaga College Chapel, Dublin on 15 April 1970 at which a copy of Irish Anglicanism was presented to Archbishop Simms. 31-39. Lists of participants in, cards of invitation and admittance to, orders of service of, and copies of the speeches of Michael Hurley and Archbishop Simms at the Act of Worship and presentation. 40-43.
