Radnor House Cricket Equipment Buying Guide for pupils playing hardball cricket
Cricket is the summer term sport for all pupils at Radnor House. Pupils will either play hardball or softball cricket depending on their experience. All hardball cricketers are strongly advised to purchase their own cricket equipment, especially in these current times where sharing equipment has many barriers. We do have a very limited supply of hardball equipment for pupils to borrow which will be sanitised between use.
In the summer term, we have both hardball cricket matches (Year 6-10) and softball cricket matches (Year 3-10) scheduled against other schools which will hopefully be able to go ahead. Pupils will attend games sessions and softball cricket matches in PE kit unless they are selected for a hardball cricket match (Year 6-10) in which case they will need to wear the white RH7 cricket shirt from Horncastles, and also white cricket trousers which can be purchased from any supplier. It will also be worthwhile to have a white cricket jumper for extra warmth.

Sizing: Measure the circumference of the head to work out the size required for Gray-Nicolls helmets.
Bats:
The more expensive the bat is the easier it will be to hit the ball and the further the ball will go. Check the size of the bat needed first before looking at different price options. Sizing: Measure from the wrist to top of middle finger

Sizing: Measure from the centre of the knee cap, to the top of the foot (where the top of the tongue of your shoe would fit).
