The Gini coefficient was estimated to 0.043. Among all the ten groups, Madhav group had the highest share (17.38 %) in total income. Regarding the value addition in the Okhaman dal area about 23 per cent farmers did the value addition which was very poor as compare to their future expectations i.e. 82 per cent farmers. The highest scope of value addition was observed in commodities like chillies (27 farmers), tomato (20 farmers) and groundnut (48 farmers). Per acre net income was obtained Rs, 6,03,526. The crops like sapota, coconut, coriander, chillies, brinjal and cotton were the major sources of farm income. In case of animal husbandry, the average gross income received per cluster from animal husbandry was estimated at Rs. 1,19,502 per annum. Labour activities in the form of driving, industrial and agril labour, masonry works etc.

Ten Environment Justice Stories by Community Paralegals in India
The Centre for Policy Research-Namati Environmental Justice Program trains and supports a network of community paralegals or grassroots legal professionals who work with communities affected by pollution, water contamination and other environmental challenges. They use the legal empowerment approach to make communities aware of laws and regulations that can help secure much needed remedies for these problems that often arise out of non-compliance or violation of environmental regulations. As part of their work, the community paralegals write about their cases to create public awareness on the use of law outside of courts as well as Making the engage the readers in these issues. Ecology, Economy and Society–the INSEE Journal 3 (2): 59–82, July 2020 RESEARCH PAPER Role of Marine National Park for Sustainable Livelihoods of Artisan Fisherfolk: A Case Study of MNP, Jamnagar Rohit Magotra, Pushkar Pandey, Mohit Kumar, Mohit Kumar Gupta, Asha Kaushik, and Jyoti Parikh Abstract: Over the past few decades, marine conservation has become a global concern due to increasing anthropogenic activities in the vicinity of coastal areas, which has led to the development of the concept of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) for the conservation of marine ecology and its biodiversity. Conservation and acceptance of MPAs can only be achieved if coastal communities and fisherfolk are included as significant stakeholders because MPAs have direct relevance to their livelihood. To capture their acceptance towards the Gulf of Kachchh Marine National Park (MNP), Jamnagar, artisanal fisherfolk fishing in and around the MNP were surveyed to determine whether the presence of a well- managed MNP has any positive effects on the adjacent fishing communities since its establishment. The survey was carried out at six sites along the coast of southern Gulf of Kachchh (Sachana, Jodiya, Sikka, Salaya, Arambada, and Bet Dwarka) using structured questionnaires. The findings showed that the total fish catch was observed to increase over the years, but there has been a perceived decline in total catch in recent years.
