.The official elected board to review and recommend policy regarding Greek student life issues at UW-Platteville. This is unique to Platteville. .It is comprised of members from all Greek Chapters .Representative and executive positions are open to any general Greek member. .The vision and intent of this organization is to strengthen the Greek community while maintaining a strong, positive relationship with the university, community, and the City of Platteville. .Promote the best interest of the University and encourage a pursuit of excellence. .Assist and strengthen men’s individually and collectively in the achievement of their worth purposes and policies. .Provide a medium for the exercising of self-government and regulation of affairs. .Offer opportunities for further development of fraternity life on the campus. .Offer a common meeting ground for all men’s fraternities. .Foster fellowship and goodwill among the men’s fraternities and the student body as a whole. .To promote inter-organization collaboration regarding the awareness of being a healthy Greek at UW-Platteville. .To share GPA information and solutions of mutual interest to all parties involved. .To assist in the Greek Community, Health Services, and AODA to educate students on high risk drinking issues with proactive and progressive bystander intervention programming. .To promote health educational information and programs to all Greek organizations and campus. Recognize those students who have attained a high standard of academics (3.0 gpa and higher) and leadership within inter-Greek activities, to encourage them to continue along this path, and to inspire others to strive for similar conspicuous attainment. . Provide scholastic strategies for the entire Greek community to encourage strong scholastics. . 1. Become familiar with the Greek Alphabet and how to pronounce letters.  See Guide to Pioneer Life page 17 2. Recruitment (learning about the chapter) verse Rush (See, Like, OK, Join). 3. Community Service – volunteering time to provide service or skills. 4. Philanthropy – collecting items of monetary value ($, clothing, food, & etc.) to give to a charitable or needy group. 5.
