Classroom Allergy Precautions for Parents Classroom Allergy Precautions for Parents Due to some severe food allergies in our class, we need to keep eggs and tree nuts (and products containing them, including empty egg cartons) out of our classroom this year. Please note the following necessary precautions: Snack Since snack is eaten in our classroom, it is particularly important that any items that you send with your child for snack do not contain eggs or tree nuts. In determining whether a snack is safe to bring into our classroom, some words to look for on labels include: eggs, albumin/albumen/ovalbumin, lecithin (soy lecithin is safe, but just “lecithin” by itself means the item contains eggs), marzipan, almonds, walnuts, tree nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios, pine nuts, and any other nuts except peanuts. Please avoid sending items for snack which contain any of these allergens. If you prefer not to read labels, you may select snacks from the “Safe Snack” list below. This list is not an exhaustive list, but it is provided for your convenience. We appreciate your efforts and want to make it as easy as possible for you to assist us in keeping all of our students safe! Lunch Lunch will be eaten in the All‐Purpose Room to ensure that allergens are not introduced into the classroom. Birthday Celebrations Please contact the teacher in advance if you would like to bring in a treat to share with the class for your child’s birthday. Birthday cupcakes ARE allowed because we will eat them in the All‐Purpose Room after lunch rather than in the classroom. Thank you for helping us to maintain a safe environment in our classroom! Safe Snacks Without Eggs or Tree Nuts (Please note that the specific brand is very important, since several of these items have similar products made by other companies that DO contain or are processed on equipment with egg or tree nuts, and therefore would NOT be safe. • Mondelēz Union Network
Mondelēz Union Network What is ? Mondelez is a global snack foods company which came into being on October 2, 2012 when the former Kraft Foods Inc. was split into two, resulting in the creation of two separate companies, both headquartered in the USA. Mondelēz took the “snacks” products (biscuits, confectionery, salty crackers, nuts, gum, Tang), giving it about two-thirds the revenue of the former Kraft. The remaining “grocery” products were stuffed into a North American (only) company now known as Kraft Foods Group. Former Kraft CEO Irene Rosenfeld now heads up Mondelēz. If you worked for the former Kraft or one of its subsidiaries manufacturing or distributing snack products, including former Danone or Cadbury products, you now work for Mondelēz or one of its subsidiaries. In some countries, the name change will not be immediate. Mondelēz Kraft Foods Group Oreo, Chips Ahoy, Fig Kraft macaroni and cheese Newtons, SnackWell’s, Stove Top stuffing Nilla wafers, Mallomars Kool-Aid and Capri Sun Nabisco crackers including drinks Ritz, Triscuit, Teddy Grahams, Deli brands including Oscar Honey Maid, Premium Mayer, Louis Rich, saltines, Planters nuts, Lunchables, Deli Creations, Cheese Nips, Wheat Thins, Claussen pickles Lu biscuits Philadelphia cream cheese Philadelphia cream cheese Kraft, Velveeta and Cracker Toblerone chocolate, Milka Barrel cheese candy bars, Cadbury, Green and Black’s Jell-O Trident/ Dentyne gum Cool Whip/Miracle Whip Halls A-1 steak sauce, Grey Poupon mustard Tang Vegemite Jacobs coffee Maxwell House coffee 888 Brand names in red are ‘power brands’ each generating revenue over USD 1 billion In North America, Maxwell House coffee is ‘grocery’ (Kraft Foods Group), but elsewhere coffee is Mondelēz.

  • Traub X Crosswalk Report
Understanding the Unprecedented: Quarantine and its Effects on the American Consumer Overview As the Coronavirus crisis takes its toll on both the psyche and wallets of Americans, we conducted a study to address its impact on the consumer. In our first edition of the Coronavirus Consumer Report we addressed the following questions: 1. How has the Coronavirus and related crisis impacted the ways in which consumers engage in 1 digital content and make purchase decisions? 2. How will these trends shift as the crisis continues and we settle into our “new normal”? The 2 first two weeks of the crisis were a shock to the system. What will the next phase look like from a consumer perspective? 3. Will these trends or some of these trends achieve a level of permanence even after the crisis 3 abates? In order to answer these questions, we partnered with data insights analytics firm, Crosswalk, to analyze the digital data of over 5 million consumers. This edition of the Coronavirus Consumer Report covers the first two weeks of the crisis when Americans went from living what were essentially their normal lives to sheltering at home or a version of it within the span of days. We plan to provide pulse check updates throughout the crisis to see how the trends evolve over time. For this report, Traub and Crosswalk conducted a study of 5.29M consumers who provided self- identified information via social media platforms. We sourced parsed data from digital networks, consumption trends, habits, and language. We then applied our proprietary funnel system to filter the data and assign inferences based on proven correlations between specific data points and demographically known characteristics.

  • Consumer Propensity Report by Category
Consumer Propensity Report Marketing and Merchandising Intelligence for Local Business The Consumer Propensity Report (CPR) shows the lifestyle, product, and psychographic likelihood indices for the consumers within the trade area being analyzed. Major retail, restaurant, grocery, and consumer packaged goods firms use this very same information to drive marketing and merchandising decisions. Each analyzed item is assigned a propensity index score with 100 being average. For example, if the consumers within a trade score a 120 for a given analysis item you know that those consumers are 20% more likely to participate in or purchase that item than the average American household. A propensity index score of 80 would indicate that those consumers would be 20% less likely than the average American household to participate in or purchase that item. Information is provided for 32 major categories with over 4,800 total line items. Please note that line items are based upon national‐level purchasing and lifestyle characteristics. These line items are then correlated to the underlying household characteristics of the consumers within the trade area being analyzed. Some line items may not be necessarily relevant or available currently in your market or region. The index score in these situations serves to indicate the degree to which the consumers would participate in or purchase that item if it were relevant and available. Often this is taken as an opportunity for expansion of a similar brand or concept within the category. CPR Categories Apparel
