She died unexpectedly, earlier this week.

And now Dolores O'Riordan has been laid in repose ahead of her funeral, which is expected to take place in Limerick, Ireland, on Tuesday.

The coﬃn was seen being removed from a hearse outside the city's St.Joseph's Church on Sunday afternoon.

Hundreds of people have already gathered to pay their respects and the family have encouraged other grieving fans to attend.

Her body will remain in repose until 4pm, today.

It comes 48 hours before Dolores will be laid to rest in the O'Riordan family plot at Caherally Cemetery, near her home town of Ballybricken, Co. Limerick.

She will be buried beside her dad Terry, who died from cancer at the age of 68 in 2011.

The Cranberries frontwoman was found dead at the age of 46 at a hotel on central London's Park Lane on Monday morning.

Police have said her death is not being treated as suspicious and her inquest will be opened at Westminster Coroner's Court from 9.30am.

Earlier this week, Dolores' mum thanked fans for their support following her daughter's heartbreaking death earlier this week.

Eileen O'Riordan told people: "We want to thank all the people of Limerick who have remembered Dolores this week.

"The people who queued to sign the book of condolence - some of them standing in the rain - it has meant a huge amount to us and has been a great source of comfort."
