Satheesan, 2Akash R S, 3Gokul Krishna Menon, 4Ishwaragowda V Patil 1, 2, 3Student, 4Assistant Professor 1, 2, 3ACE College of Engineering, Trivandrum, 4 Shree Devi Institute of Techchnology Email - [email protected], [email protected] Abstract: Semi cryogenic fueled rockets use refined kerosene instead of liquid hydrogen, which is used in combination with liquid oxygen as the propellant in the cryogenic engine which is stored in a normal temperature. The refined kerosene needs lesser space to make it possible to carry more propellant in the semi cryogenic fuel part. Semi cryogenics is more powerful, ecofriendly and the cost effective compared to cryogenic engines. Key Words: Semi cryogenics, Cryogenics, Propellant, ULV. 1. INTRODUCTION: Kerosene as a fuel has its advantage of burn off gas eco-friendly and cost effective and relative safety. Unlike liquid hydrogen and oxygen which has to store at -253 and 183 degree Celsius respectively, it is stable at room temperature. Kerosene is a fuel which produces line fumes in its paraffin form, it is considered environmentally friendly. It is a non-corrosive fuel, safe to store for a long time. Depending in what kind of container in which it is stored, kerosene can be kept in storage for a 1 year to 10 year. -

Surya Narayana** *Dept.Biotechnology, Vignan’s Engineering College, Vadlamudi, Guntur-522213 email: [email protected] **-307, Karnakamma Street, Venkatagiri Town –524132 email: [email protected] Issued January 01, 2010 Abstract Sriharikota Island in Andhra Pradesh is an elliptical land mass sandwiched between Bay of Bengal in the East and Pulicat Lake in the West. Sullurpet is the nearest railway station which is 18 km from Sriharikota Island and it is on Chennai-Kolkata trunk line and 90 Km away from North of Chennai. An aboriginal tribe called Yanadi dwells in Sriharikota. It is similar to Chenchu community elsewhere in Andhra Pradesh. Inspite of the community being drifted from their natural way of life due to agro-rural development activities, a few aged tribal men are still able to furnish traditional ethno-medicinal data. So far no ethno-botanical studies are conducted are in this area except for a list of 50 plants reported by the senior author and co-researchers (1989). Therefore a detailed study on tribal medicine in this area is undertaken. During this work 190 species are collected having a variety of ethno-pharmacological values. However this article deals with 23 species only, having remedial effect for arthritis and rheumatism. Out of them 10 species having anodyne properties from first hand ethnic information. Introduction An aboriginal tribe called Yanadi dwells in Sriharikota. -

Drawing from recent theoretical insights on the circulation of knowledge, this article, grounded in real-world examples, illustrates the importance of ‘the site’ as an analytical heur- istic for revealing processes, movements and connections illegible within either nation-centred histories or comparative national studies. By investigating place instead of project, the study reframes the birth of modern rocket developments in both China and India as fundamentally intertwined within common global networks of science. I investigate four seemingly discon- nected sites in the US, India, China and Ukraine, each separated by politics but connected and embedded in conduits that enabled the flow of expertise during (and in some cases despite) the Cold War. By doing so, it is possible to reconstruct an exemplar of a kind of global history of science, some of which takes place in China, some in India, and some else- where, but all of it connected. There are no discrete beginnings or endings here, merely points of intervention to take stock of processes in action. Each site produces objects and knowledge that contribute to our understanding of the other sites, furthering the overall narra- tive on Chinese and Indian efforts to formalize a ‘national’ space programme. -
