AMVF celebrates the past, present, and future of music videos across the big screens of Austin, Texas and beyond at our video popups in Berlin, LA, NYC and more!

As AMVF approaches the 4th annual festival, it has become one of the top music video festivals in the world, and is celebrated for bridging the communities of film, music, and technology.

AMVF remains dedicated to spotlighting local and regional creatives, brands, and organizations. +++HIGHLIGHTS+++ FLAMING LIPS VIDEOS FREAKOUT: US THEATRICAL DEBUT (SOLD OUT)

The ultimate Flaming Lips fan experience! Attendees had a chance to freak out to the LIPS’ insane video collection at the Alamo Drafthouse (S. Lamar). Other wonderful and weird moments included a costume contest, sing-a-long, and Q&A with Wayne Coyne (virtual) and longtime LIPS director Bradley Beesley (in the house).

Plus, the best costumed fans won a meet-n-greet with the Flaming Lips and caught their sold out ACL Live concert.

AMVF featured the ultimate mix of iconic and award winning music videos on the big screen from critically acclaimed and legendary director .

The “mixtape” included classic MTV and Youtube faves from Daft Punk, Bjork, , Jay-Z, , and many more. BEYONCE’S LEMONADE: US THEATRICAL DEBUT (SOLD OUT)

Critically acclaimed and beloved by her Beyhive, Beyoncé's visual album Lemonade will forever be a quintessential piece in the music video canon. As both a pristine work of pop and also a controversial commentary touching on feminism, the black lives matter movement, and infidelity, it stands alone.

Working with Beyoncé's label, Parkwood Entertainment, AMVF hosted the US theatrical debut of this masterpiece at a SOLD-OUT Alamo Drafthouse Ritz, followed by our "Lady Power" screening, a compilation of female-driven videos created by independent artists and filmmakers.

AUSTIN CITY LIMITS TELEVISION: 42 YEARS

In coordination with executive producer Terry Lickona (The GRAMMY's, Americana Music Awards), AMVF highlighted some of the best performances from the past 42 years of the trailblazing institution, Austin City Limits, at Alamo Drafthouse The Ritz.

Attendees were treated to behind-the-scenes footage, a classic Willie Nelson performance, plus a sneak preview of Iggy Pop's yet, unaired, first-time performance on the iconic TV show. The 4th annual Austin Music Video Festival culminates in the annual Awards Show and Closing Party. Guests are treated to world premieres, surprise presenters, and wild performances.
