INDOOR GOLF SIMULATOR
Glacier Club is excited to announce the addition of an Indoor Golf Simulator as our newest amenity for Members and their Guests! The ForeSight Golf Sim-in-a-Box is currently set up in the Valley Clubhouse’s Prospector Hall. Reservations for playing golf, games, practice, or lessons can be made 7 days in advance by calling the Mountain Golf Shop or booking online using the member’s website. The simulator will be open for business starting on Monday, December 14.

TECHNOLOGY ForeSight Golf ’s Sim-in-a-Box is the most complete all-in-one virtual golf package available today. It is paired with the best launch monitor in the industry, the GC Quad, so you not only get true-to-life game performance indoors, but you get the game’s best performance analysis tool for outdoors as well!
The GC Quad launch monitor uses 4 high speed cameras to capture ball and club face data. Possible ball data include ball speed, launch angle, azimuth (determines if you pull or push the ball from your starting line), total spin, and spin-tilt axis (the axis that the golf ball rotates around to create shoot curvature and lift). Possible club data includes club speed, impact point, angle of attack, club path, delivered face angle, delivered lie angle, impact loft, and closure rate. All these data points, along with insight from one of Glacier’s Golf Professionals, will give a golfer the best opportunity to improve their game.

theglacierclub.com 600 Glacier Club Drive Durango, CO 81301 SIMULATOR RENTAL GUIDELINES • Maximum of 4 players are allowed to use the simulator at one time in order to comply with local health guidelines. • Glacier staff will be present and operating the software. • Average pace of play for 18 holes is 1 hour per player. Please be aware of your pace of play to accommodate for other reservations later in the day. • Your golf clubs must be clean in order to use the simulator. • Plastic tees and golf balls are provided for simulator use. • Simulator can be rented up to 7 days in advance • Reservations can be made by calling the Mountain Golf Shop – 970.382.6700 • Reservations can be made on the Member’s Website (Golf Tab/Book the Golf Simulator) • Price is charged per hour based on the member type of the person making the reservation (does not matter the number of participants, up to 4, or their member types). • Cancellation required within 24 hours of reservation or applicable rental charges will apply.
SIMULATOR SAFETY GUIDELINES • Maximum of 4 players are allowed to use the simulator at one time • Glacier staff will be operating the software • Participants must wear a facemask while indoors • Participants must use their own set of clubs while using the simulator (exception: if participants reside in the same household) • Rental clubs are not available for use at this time • Participants are encouraged to wash their hands frequently during use of the simulator • Please practice social distancing at all times • Hand sanitizer is provided at the simulator • If someone is experiencing any symptoms or sign of illness, they will not be allowed to use the simulator
