Secretary’s Report: a.The meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM. Roll call was taken and a quorum was established at 18. b. Review and approval of May Meeting Minutes was unanimous. c. Bylaw Discussion - none d. Old Business: *Shawna to ask HR to make us up a form for Employee Tips: This will be put in the new New Hire Packet. To start this process on your register you must go to Employee Maintenance - click button that says tipped for each employee individually. Now, the employee will be prompted to put in their tips each day in order to clock out. Everyday the totals must be checked and then each pay period passed on to your payroll company. * Brenda asked to have the batch settlement changed so that the redeemed and the sold gift cards are totaled. *Shawna will make a list of locations for Salvation Army money pick up. The new Evelyn Mount artwork to put into the boxes was given out. All monies are to be given to Sarah at the Corporate Office for Shawna to purchase the backpacks. *Divvy Site Update from Izabela. Megan gave a visual overview of the Divvy system for all to see at the meeting. *New Loyalty Cards to be distributed - Izabela completed. Review of the mySlice portal was shown by Megan. The password will still be Provolone for login. This will be the most updated place for information from Corporate to the Franchisees and store managers. Advertising Agency Update: a. Review Radio and TV buy for June: On the air for four weeks in July for a total of 489 spots. On the air for two weeks in August for a total of 424 spots. Cable - National has bought this for the first time, but unfortunately this does not hit the outlaying areas. This will run for all of June and July with 1,294 spots. However, this is only on Charter - not on Dish. DIGITAL - there is a list of all of the websites that we will have us as one of the top three searches on - this is a very trackable form of advertisement. b. Discuss Radio Promotions/Radio Certificates for July KRNO/KODS/KSGG/KOLC/KBZZ/Crusher *4th of July - Party Tray Giveaway (6/22-6/26) *Cruise Nights - Every Wed. in July - lunch for 2 combos *Back to School (8/17-8/21) - lunch for 2 - total of 35 KOZZ/KDOT/ESPN *School’s Out - Party Platter Giveaway - Text to Win (7/15-7/22) - 3 Sub Assortments *Hot August Nights - Plater Giveaway - Text to Win (8/4-8/9) - 3 Sub Assortments SWNZ/KRZQ *Picnic in the Park - 1 per day (Total 10) *Port of Subs Office Lunch (Total 2) KZTQ-BOB *July-lunch on Bob - random stops to hand out certificates Ten per week (Total 40) *August - School Supply Drive - one small sub certificate for every donation. How are the new items doing in your stores - no discussion f. Direct Mail: off for July & August g. Co-op Offers: Rodeo - $1 off any med or large sandwich. Rodeo/Artown: we will be feeding the workers again. Shawna will find out about the Artown Books to be put in the stores. k. LSM Person - Sierra Nevada Co-op: A former Franchisee will join us to aid all Franchisees in this Co-op with Local Store Marketing. Kevin made a motion to hire Patty McEvers to do the LSM training at $500 per store. She will spend approximately20 hours per store and the people that attend the Co-op meetings plus the Corporate Stores will be the first stores in line. l. Express Ordering: OLO Marketing & group ordering, reports, fundraising: no discussion m. Loyalty Program Update: Each store now has the new cards n. POS portal update: Megan gave an overview of the portal. o. August 2015 convention: information is online, please sign up! NAC Update: New drink cups will be in the next 4-6 weeks. Pickles: Just sliced pickle now - no longer will have whole pickles. Coca Cola Bottle Coolers will be taken out of the stores. Each store will purchase a cooler of their own if they want one. Drinks, private label water bottles, salads and small juices will be put in them. Point of Sale polling is still being worked on - hopefully will be ready for the Sales Journal by Convention. Kevin is testin a “Turbo Chef Oven” - takes our hot sandwiches from 2 minutes to 40 seconds of prep time. New Business: None There will be no meeting in July!!! Meeting was adjourned at 5:15. .
