Following the success of the TISF held in 2017 and 2019, this is our third time hosting the event. The TISF aims to bring together groups of young researchers from all over the world to present their science project findings, and exchange their ideas on future trends and needs. It has been gratifying to see the ever-increasing number of students pursuing their passion for science and making useful contributions to a better world. 2021 will be another challenging year, as we continue to deal with the consequences of a completely unprecedented global pandemic that has had a dramatic effect on all of us. However, we believe that this crisis has given us practical lessons on how to deal with the unknown. We believe that it is the time to learn to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We also believe that this is a great opportunity for us to develop science and technology in order to build resilience in society. We have full confidence that all students, teachers and educators will have a wonderful experience taking part in the TISF 2021 and interacting with various people from other countries. We look forward to meet you virtually in TISF 2021. Wiwat Ruenglertpanyakul, Dr. rer. nat. • 15Th Traditional Rugby Match 2019 Melaka
Kolej Yayasan Saad – Vajiravudh College 15th Traditional Rugby Match 2019 Melaka Welcome Message on Behalf of Kolej Yayasan Saad MR. TAN CHEH LI PRINCIPAL, KOLEJ YAYASAN SAAD Kolej Yayasan Saad warmly welcomes our friends from the Vajiravudh College, Thailand in conjunction with the 15th Traditional KYS-VC Rugby Match 2019. We treasure Vajiravudh College’s steadfast friendship for the past 16 years and consider it a privilege that the KYS rugby team is able to play a rugby friendly match with the VC rugby team in KYS. A rugby game promotes many good attributes like courage, teamwork, leadership, cooperation, collective responsibility, strategic and quick thinking. These attributes are very useful in preparation for adult life. It is hoped that the students of both schools can appreciate the benefits they gain from the rugby match and bring the exciting experience to a higher level of friendship as well as co-operation in the future. In playing a game between two teams, there is bound to end with a winner and a loser. Either way, the teams are actually winners where the winner wins and the loser learns. Finally, the KYS community extends our best wishes and highest appreciation to the delegation of Vajiravudh College and to everyone present in the 15th Traditional KYS-VC Rugby Match 2019. Do enjoy the game. Be profound, make a difference. Thank you. Message from the Headmaster of Vajiravudh College ASSISTANT PROFESSOR SURAVUDH KIJKUSOL HEADMASTER, VAJIRAVUDH COLLEGE Some said that sport can cut across barriers that divide societies, provide a forum to learn skills such as discipline, confidence and leadership; additionally, I personally think sport is also an ideal of school for life when applied effectively, sport is as well critically important to child’s development in all aspects.
