NALSAP supports its members by providing leadership and community, professional development with an annual conference, and a growing collection of resources about programming, policy, and best practices. Founded in March 2016, NALSAP is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization. 4 NALSAP Membership With 544 members (as of September 2019) representing more than half of the 203 ABA-accredited law schools, NALSAP has grown quickly during its short tenure. NALSAP provides two membership options: (1) Institutional Memberships for ABA-accredited law schools and other law-related organizations, and (2) Individual Memberships for anyone who works in the broadly-defined field of law student affairs at an ABA law school. Current Institutional Members include: AccessLex Institute St. John's University School of Law Albany Law School Stanford Law School Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia Stetson University College of Law American University Washington College of Law Suffolk University Law School Appalachian School of Law University of Arkansas School of Law Ave Maria School of Law University of California, Berkeley School of Law Baylor University School of Law University of California, Davis School of Law Boston University School of Law University of California, Hastings College of the Law Capital University Law School University of California, Irvine School of Law Case Western Reserve School of Law University of California, Los Angeles School of Law Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law University of Chicago Law School Charleston School of Law University of Colorado Law School Council on Legal Education Opportunity, Inc. The conference is a two-and-a-half- day event featuring an agenda selected by a committee of law school student affairs professionals who evaluate proposals submitted by NALSAP members and other professionals. Plenary and concurrent conference sessions highlight innovative programming ideas, hot topics and national trends, and practical tools and information. The conference also includes a NALSAP business meeting and two networking mixers. Con ference Attendees The NALSAP Conference draws a national audience with attendees from across the United States and Canada. The audience is primarily comprised of law school student affairs professionals, such as Deans of Students or Directors of Student Affairs, but also includes law school professionals working in academic affairs, academic and bar support, admissions, alumni relations, career development, diversity, fundraising and development, and faculty. The 2020 conference is expected to draw over 300 attendees. 6 Past Conference Statistics at a Glance 2019 2018 2017 June 12-14, 2019 June 28-30, 2018 June 1-3, 2017 American University Washington College of Law, Washington, D.C. As the largest annual gathering of law student affairs professionals, your company will reach decision-makers from approximately 60% of law schools in the country (and Canada)! NALSAP provides Vendor Fair time periods near high traffic and during breaks when you can reach many attendees. Further, NALSAP has a drawing for attendees who visit all of the Vendor Fair tables to encourage participation in the Vendor Fair. Familiarity with Company or Product: Having information available for attendees both in the program and during the vendor fair allows attendees to become more aware of your products and services. This familiarity is important when law schools ask administrators for suggestions for products or services. Personal Contacts: Being a sponsor and
