The Broncos ended the game on a 24-7 run to snap the Aztecs’ 29-game home winning streak (the fifth- longest active streak in the nation). …Boise State outscored San Diego State 35-22 in the second half. The Broncos trailed 39-32 with 11:12 to go before going on a 10-0 run to take a lead they would never relinquish. The run extended to 20-4 as Boise State took a 52-43 lead with 56 seconds to play. …Boise State improves to 22-7 on the season and 12-4 in Mountain West play. The Broncos and the Aztecs are tied for first in the conference and Boise State holds the tiebreaker after sweeping San Diego State. …With the win, Boise State is now 7-43 all-time against top-25 teams in the Associated Press Poll. The Broncos are 3-23 in road games against ranked opponents. Under Leon Rice, Boise State is 2-18 against top-25 opponents with both wins coming on the road (at No. 11 Creighton; Nov. 28, 2012). …Boise State swept the season series from San Diego State for the first time.
