Modification in the species’ status after the publication of the book:

Mnesarete globifer, page 76, transferred to a new genus (Bryoplathanon) by Garrison, 2006. Oxystigma williamsoni, page 146, synonym of O. petiolatum by Garrison, 2014. Amazoneura, page 164, placed as synonym of Forcepsioneura, was correctly re-erected by Machado, 2009a, with new characters added to the characterization of the genus. Forcepsioneura ephippigera, page 187, transferred to Amazoneura by Machado, 2009a. Forcepsioneura juruaensis, page 191, transferred to Amazoneura by Machado, 2009a.
