St. Jude Festival ‘a huge success’ By Nancy Price Attendees of this year’s St. Jude Summer Festival were 1. treated to live music, a variety of food, chances to win prizes and cash for raffle drawings, a silent auction and games, including Monte Carlo and bingo, in addition to rides on dragons. “It was a huge success,” said Kate Vannoy, communications coordinator for St. Jude Cath- olic Church. Funds raised re- paired the school roof. 2. The festival gave away a $3,000 grand prize, $1,000 as a second prize and two $500 prizes; the drawings were held the last night of the festival. Platinum sponsors included: C& R Concrete; EM Compa- ny, Jobsite Supply and O’Riley Funeral Home; gold sponsors were: Green Law Offices, PC, Southside OBGYN, Roncalli High School, Southeast Family 3. 6.
