Sale Sharks Prize Draw Competition Terms & Conditions Sale Sharks Prize Draw Competition Terms & Conditions Please read the following Terms & Conditions of Entry carefully Thank you for supporting Place2Be (a registered charity in England and Wales {1040756}, Scotland {SC038649}). Entry into this prize competition is conditioned upon, and signifies your agreement to, the terms and conditions listed here. By entering this prize competition, you are agreeing to comply with these Terms & Conditions. 1. This draw is a prize competition and is exempt from the Gambling Act 2005. 2. There are three prizes to be won. These are; a Curry with Ben Curry and Marland Yarde which includes a 15 minute video call with Ben Curry and Marland Yarde and BOL Foods vouchers to the value of £40; Vegan Cuisine with Katy Daly-Mclean which includes a 15 minute video call with Katy Daly-Mclean and BOL Foods vouchers to the value of £40; a framed rugby shirt signed by Sale Sharks first team. 3. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Place2Be reserves the right to replace the prizes with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Place2Be’s control makes it necessary to do so. 4. The cost of entry is £7. Players may enter the prize competition multiple times and payment must be made in advance of entry into the draw. Players must select which video call they want to enter to win when submitting their entry. 5. Entrants will be submitted to the prize draw by correctly answering the competition questions and paying their entry fee online. Only entrants that answer all competition questions correctly will be eligible to enter into the draw to win the prize competition. Entrants will still be charged the entry fee if answers to the competition questions are incorrect. 6. The prize competition will run from Wednesday 3rd February 2021 through till Monday 15th February 2021. 7. The draw will be conducted on Tuesday 16th February 2021 and announced on Wednesday 17th February 2021. The winner will be chosen at random using an online random name generator and be witnessed by two people. 8. Any entries received after the closing date will be treated as donations. Entrants will not be eligible for a refund. 9. The winners will be notified by phone and email on Wednesday 17th February 2021. Video call prizes: The video call with Ben Curry and Marland Yard will take place on Tuesday 23rd February 2021 at 7pm; the video call with Katy Daly-Mclean will take place on Wednesday 24th February 2021 at 7pm, if the winners are not available at the relevant date and time, or no response is received by 12pm on Friday 19th February 2021, Place2Be reserves the right to conduct a further draw and allocate the prize to the new prize winner. Signed rugby shirt prize: physical prizes will be sent by mail within 2 months of Place2Be receiving acknowledgement from the winners. If no response is received within 3 weeks from the prize draw closing date, Place2Be reserves the right to conduct a further draw and allocate the prize to the new prize winner. 10. By entering into this prize draw, the winner consents to Place2Be using their name and geographical location for promotional purposes. This will only be in summary, e.g. Mrs Smith from London. 11. All profits from the prize competition will be used to fund work by Place2Be. A charity registered in England and Wales (1040756) and in Scotland (SC038649). 12. Place2Be will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, equipment failure, technical Sale Sharks Prize Draw Competition Terms & Conditions malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. 13. Entrants must be over 18 in order to enter this prize competition. 14. Unless otherwise stated, this prize competition is open to all except Place2Be employees or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw. 15. In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Place2Be may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize competition if necessary. 16. Place2Be reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 17. This prize competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. Use of Personal Data and Consent 1. By providing your personal information when you sign up to fundraise for Place2Be, you understand that Place2Be will contact you via phone, email and any other legitimate means in order to communicate relevant event information throughout, in the lead up to and post your participation in this event. 2. Your personal information may also be used for the purposes of sending communications to you where you have confirmed that you would like to receive further information about the charity’s work when signing up to fundraise for Place2Be. 3. All personal data held by us will be handled in accordance with Place2Be’s Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.place2be.org.uk/page/privacy-policy/ .
