Robofest Robotics Competitions in the Tampa Bay Area – Florida For Elementary, Junior High, Senior High, and College All Schools, Teams, Students And Volunteers Are Welcome - Rookies And Advanced Robofest is a festival of competitions and events with autonomous robots that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and Computer Science. Students design, construct, and program the robots. Any robotics kits are allowed in the construction of robots. Robots can be programmed with any programming language. Robofest programs support Computer Science for All. Since 2000, over 20,000 students have competed in Robofest, including teams from 13 US States, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Egypt, England, France, Ghana, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, and South Africa. Teams compete in the junior (grades 5-8), senior (grades 9-12), and college divisions. For RoboParade, junior includes 4th grade. Student teams, composed of up to five members each, can participate in a variety of events. All rights reserved. www.robofest.net World Robot Olympiad – Local Tournament WRO is a global LEGO Robotics competition. It is an event that brings young people from all over the world together. Teams of youngsters get the opportunity to learn more about STEM subjects and develop their creative and problem solving skills through various robotics challenges. Each participating country has its own competition and the best teams are invited to attend and compete at the World Robot Olympiad. The annual RoboParade RoboParade will be held in multiple cities across the nation including Detroit and Warren in Michigan, Sugar Land in Texas, Roanoke in Virginia, and St. Petersburg in Florida. Global Robotics Art Festival. Robotic Music, Fashion & Dance, Robotic Painting, and Interactive Kinetic Sculptures. Express Yourself with Robots! Robofest offers a unique STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning opportunity using intelligent & interactive robotics with visual and performing arts categories.
