01. WHEN WILL THE TESTS TAKE PLACE? The possibility to take a rapid test will be available from January the 19th, 2021. With the establishment of these permanent test sites, there will an easily accessible option of testing, available to all people of .

The tests will take place coming January, 19th, Tuesday thru Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

02. WHERE WILL THE TESTS TAKE PLACE? There are seven test sites in Vorarlberg:

Bregenz: Sporthalle Rieden, Untere Burggräflerstraße 11 : Testzentrum (Messehalle 10), Untere Roßmähder Feldkirch: Veranstaltungssaal des neuen Jugendhauses, Reichsstraße 143 : Stadtsaal, Untersteinstraße 6 : Sicherheitszentrum, Platz 639 : Kulturbühne, Batloggstraße 24 : Test-Station (Walserstraße 271, Hirschegg)

03. WHEN WILL THE TESTS BEGIN? WHAT ARE THE OPENING HOURS? The testing begins on January the 19th, 2021. The opening hours are Tuesday thru Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Dornbirn test site (Messehalle 10) Monday thru Sunday, 8 a.m. until 5.30 p.m.

04. IS THE TEST OBLIGATORY? The participation is voluntary and free of charge. However, taking a test is an important contribution toward curbing the spread of the pandemic.

05. WHO CONDUCTS THE TESTS? The tests will be conducted by health professionals, certified paramedics and other qualified personnel. Measures of distancing and hygiene will be strictly adhered to.

06. WHAT KIND OF TESTS WILL BE USED? Rapid antigen tests will be used. The sample will be collected using a nasal swab. You will be notified of the result by text (SMS) within a couple of minutes. The test poses no risk for your health. 07. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Every citizen age 6 and older can participate. Minors younger than 14 have to be accompanied by a parent.

08. WHO WILL NOT BE TESTED? • People who have been in quarantine within the past three months (due to being corona-positive) • People who recently tested positive • People who are currently in quarantine • Children younger than 6 years of age

09. DO YOU HAVE TO REGISTER? Yes. In order to avoid long waiting times and crowds at test sites, registration is required.

10. WHAT DO I HAVE TO BRING WITH ME? A valid Identification (with Photo) and the Code (QR Code) that you received as a confirmation of your registration. You can either print it out or show it on your smartphone.

11. HOW LONG WILL THE TEST TAKE? The test only takes a couple of minutes.

12. WHEN AND HOW WILL I GET THE RESULT? After a couple of minutes the result will be sent to you by text (SMS).

13. WHAT IF I’M POSITIVE? If your test is positive another test will have to be taken to confirm the result, a PCR-Test this time. People tested positive will immediately be isolated and asked to return to the test site for another sample to be taken. If the positive result is confirmed, an immediate isolation of the infected person as well as the persons he/she is/was in contact with will be initiated.

14. WHAT IF I’M NEGATIVE? A negative test means that at the time the sample was taken you were (with a high reliability) not infected with SARS-CoV-2. A negative result only reflects the current status, it’s not definitive evidence of immunity. False negative test results are possible.

The general precautions and measures must still be strictly adhered to – wear a mask (covering mouth and nose), keep a distance and disinfect your hands!
