Extraordinary The NEW IN 2020 20 million DESTINATION euro investment MARS The family space adventure In 2020, Futuroscope will be making its biggest ever investment: 20 million euros for “Destination Mars”, the attraction that will take visitors on a thrill ride through a space training centre.

This new attraction will give visitors a chance to experience what it’s like being an astronaut and see whether they have what it takes to go on a mission to Mars. The pre-show presentation is designed as a fun sensory experience with a series of tests to determine the visitors’ physical strength, and an opportunity to board a spaceship confinement module. The electromagnetic fields, solar flares, faster-than-light acceleration and top speeds of up to 35 mph bring all of Futuroscope’s technological experience to next-generation roller coaster fun for the family. The attraction promises to take visitors into an immersive world featuring effects that can’t be found anywhere else in France (such as indoor fireballs).
