European Athletics Officials Newsletter Number 2, January 2021 As we welcome a new year allow me a few moments to look ahead at what promises to be a packed year for European Athletics, with re-scheduled events from last year plus those already planned, and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games scheduled for later this summer. All of this comes with a large caveat that the world is successful in overcoming the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and that the vaccine programmes being rolled out are efficient and successful.
