3 of the best compete head to head in a benchmark war but who will win? The all new Xiaomi Mi4, the GizChina surpassing Huawei Honor 6 or the OnePlus One? Like

Try launching a smartphone in and not have every single detail from it splashed around the 28,448 people like GizChina. web in less than 24 hours. It’s something every Chinese manufacturer has to carefully prepare for, especially when there are worthy rivals waiting in the ranks.

The Xiaomi Mi4 hasn’t even been released to buy yet, but someone has managed to run all the most important benchmarks on the phone, and better still compare the new Mi phone to the Huawei Glory 6 and the OnePlus One. Facebook social plugin

In China each of these phones costs from just 1999 Yuan ($320), and each boast killer features for that low price. If you were to use one of the other you would find them each to be fast and dependable, but there can be only one winner in a Benchmarks war!

Just a word on the test. The OnePlus One is the Chinese version running ColorOS (but in our tests it makes very little difference the the benchmarks over CM11S), the Mi4 is a pre-release phone and the Huawei is the only one of the 3 not to have a Snapdragon processor.

linas_ltu on What are your expectations for Xiaomi Mi4 vs Huawei Honor 5 vs OnePlus One – Result the event on the 19th Nov?

In Antutu the really surprise is that Huawei Honor 6 and it’s Kirin 920 processor. It is quite shocking to linas_ltu on Which Chinese phone will you buy next? and why? see the Huawei machine (and Huawei chip) out perform the OnePlus One and keep up with the Xiaomi

Mi4. slekkas on China alternative

The same cannot be said about 3D Mark where the Huawei’s Mali 628 GPU simply cannot match the output of the Adreno 330 CPU.

From these benchmarks we can conclude that the Huawei Honor 6 comes 3rd, the OnePlus One a solid 2nd and the Xiaomi Mi4 shines though to take the win. Not only does the Mi4 do better in Antutu than the other phones, but it has solid and stable GPU performance too.

In real life usage the OPO and Mi4 are going to be hard to tell apart and both are going to be fast dependable gamers and daily phones. The Huawei Honor 6 is also a fast device and for usual use you won’t see an issue, and in reality most current games aren’t going to stress the Kirin CPU too much.

Our take, which ever you choose you are going to have a great phone, and with prices like this you won’t have to save up long to choose the next flagship that takes your fancy.

Is this what you expected from the benchmarks? Did one phone perform better than you had expected? Let us know in the comments below.

Allanitomwesh > deep zpain • 4 months ago Because their distribution and product line variety simply cannot match Samsung in only two years. TheOracle • 4 months ago The Huawei may come in third in your overall rankings but for practical purposes it surpasses both the One Plus and Mi4. First it's dual sim, second it has an sd slot and most importantly it has a huge 3000mah battery for a 5 inch phone. It deserves to be compared to other dual sim phones as like for like. But, again, it smokes the other two in real world terms. 11 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Faux-News > TheOracle • 4 months ago Its the slimmest of all too, with 7.5mm thickness. 5 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Airyl > Faux-News • 4 months ago The Mi4 is 6.7mm thin. 1 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Faux-News > Airyl • 4 months ago From what i read, Mi4 is 8.9mm 1 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Airyl > Faux-News • 4 months ago Really? I just double checked through a few websites, pretty sure that it's 6.7mm. △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Faux-News > Airyl • 4 months ago Mi.com and Xiaomiworld.com both show 8.9mm for example. 1 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Airyl > Faux-News • 4 months ago Well darn. Thanks! 1 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Airyl > TheOracle • 4 months ago Mi4 has a 3080mAh battery with a 5 inch display, and it's thinner. Just saying the facts here, not disagreeing in any manner. △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

TheOracle > Airyl • 4 months ago Is it dual sim and does it have an sd slot? No. 1 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Airyl > TheOracle • 4 months ago When did I say it's better? Did you even read my comment? △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

TheOracle > Airyl • 4 months ago You pointed out two features they both have and I re-emphasized two features only the Huawei has. Nothing more. The whole comparison is apples to oranges anyway. The honor 6 can only be fairly compared to other high spec dual sim phones and on that criteria it obliterates the competition especially price wise. 1 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Airyl > TheOracle • 4 months ago You clearly said "and most importantly it has a huge 3000mah battery for a 5 inch phone,". This is good, yes but it's not exactly an advantage since the competition has outperformed it. Once again, did you even read my comment? △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

TheOracle > Airyl • 4 months ago I read your comment and replied appropriately. Here are some facts that you seem to have conveniently overlooked since you're a Mi3 owner and Xiaomi fanboy. The Mi4 is 8.9mm vs 7.5mm for the huawei, the huawei has a slightly bigger battery (3100 vs 3080) and the huawei is DSFA with an sd slot. Again it should only be compared to other DSFA phones like the K920, HTC e8, S5 dual sim etc. I have a k910 that's great and it was the best dual sim available specs wise before the Honor 6 came out. The K920 may be even better but based on what I've heard so far I'd still prefer the Honor 6 and I'm a fanboy. http://www.gizchina.com/2014/07/23/benchmarks-war-xiaomi-mi4-vs-huawei-honor-6-vs-oneplus-one/ 5/8 11/15/2014 Benchmarks war! Airyl > TheOracle • 4 months ago Dude, you never read my comment. I clearly said "Just saying the facts here, not disagreeing in any manner,". I was never even saying the Mi4 was better, I was agreeing with you. I was just pointing out that you got some facts wrong in your comment. Seriously dude, what the hell? △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

TheOracle > Airyl • 4 months ago I didn't get any facts wrong "dude". I simply stated what the honor 6 has. On the other hand, you have mistated the thickness of the Mi4 in another post. Again, the phones aren't comparable and it's a testament to how good the huawei is that it's in the Flagship debate as it's dual sim. Give it a rest "dude", I'm sure many people will buy the Mi4. I just won't be one of them because it doesn't have an sd slot and isn't dual sim. △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Sarthak Parikh > TheOracle • 6 days ago with two sim slots and a memory card slot makes a phone best then i have a phone that has both and it costs only 50$ haha △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Airyl > TheOracle • 4 months ago I know they're incomparable. I was just misinformed about the thickness. Anyway, this is going nowhere. How about we bury the hatchet and forget about this? △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

TheOracle > Airyl • 4 months ago Hatchet buried. △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Zami • 4 months ago There is an another issue and that is the capability to meet the demand of the consumers . I think Huawei has the upper hand there . 2 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Arun Das • a month ago Xiaomi is a flagship phone whereas Honor 6 is a Mid range phone . Let us forget about One Plus because only the lucky few will get it. Honor 6 will be available from Oct 6 through . May be thats because of limited stock. One thing to keep in mind is that Honor 6 has hot swappable micro SD card and . You dont have to open the back cover to insert them. I doubt whether Mi4 has expandable memory slot. Another surprising thing is antutu benchmark of Kirin 920 processor . Above 41000 mark? Kirin 910 could hardly surpass 25000 mark. △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

The Mediatek MT6595 wipes them all. At 1/3 of the cost. http://www.gizchina.com/2014/07/23/benchmarks-war-xiaomi-mi4-vs-huawei-honor-6-vs-oneplus-one/ 6/8 11/15/2014 Benchmarks war! Xiaomi Mi4 vs Huawei Honor 6 vs OnePlus One | Gizchina.com The Mediatek MT6595 wipes them all. At 1/3 of the cost.

The latest thing from Xiaomioii or whatever it's called is another crappy iPhonesque overpriced crap. 5 inches for me is like 3,5 inches for iPhone5 users, you know, crap. A FHD resolution is what it had my Zopo C2. So the Antutu scores are poor.

A QHD 5.5 inch screen with Mediatek 6595 chipset will be my next phone, so of this phone grows up to this specs, and maintains its build quality while keeping costs down under 299$, then they will take my money.

Until then, I don't even consider losing time watching it. 1 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Faux-News > oc • 4 months ago Have to disagree. 5inches is a big relief for many users who dont want a big slab in the pocket and don't want the phone to be used with two hands.

A phone with the MTK chip would be unveiled by next year by which time competitors would be on 64bit chips. 4 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

oc > Faux-News • 4 months ago You can't be more wrong.

The one that will be SHIPPED next year is the 64bit MT6795.

The MT6595 will be shipping NEXT MONTH.

Get a cave and lock the door...Troll. △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Airyl > oc • 4 months ago Considering that the MTK6595 uses the same GPU as the Honor 6, I highly doubt it can best the Snapdragon devices. Maybe in Antutu it'll keep up, but GPU tests will show that it's not as fast. △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

insane > oc • 4 months ago I have to disagree.. cause u have to consider the support of Goole to Mediatek chips, drivers for Android and so on... Better choice is still Qualcomm. BTW Antutu isn't worth of testing.. scores can be diffrent in every single benchmark from 3k to even 10k points ! 1 △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

Sarthak Parikh > oc • 6 days ago Your big and low cost MTK 6595 can't handle a qhd screen △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›

TheOracle > Andi Sykes • 4 months ago Andi, you should do a comparison between the HTC one E8, K920, S5 dual sim and Honor 6. That would be fair and show the great value of the Huawei. △ ▽ • Reply • Share ›
