Address and local map: Thermo Fisher Scientific Stafford House Boundary Way Hemel Hempstead HP2 7GE 2. Local directions to Thermo Fisher Scientific: From the A1: • Leave the A1(M) at junction 3 (signposted A414 St Albans, Welham Green), then at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A414 (signposted St Albans). At London Colney Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A414 (signposted Hemel Hempstead). At Park Street Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the M10. Follow the M10 until it joins the M1 and leave immediately at junction 8. Take the third exit (right) at the first roundabout, first exit (left) at the second roundabout and straight ahead at the third roundabout. Take the second right after the roundabout into the Thermo Fisher Scientific facility. From the M1: • Leave the M1 at J8. Take the third exit (right) at the first roundabout, first exit (left) at the second roundabout and straight ahead at the third roundabout. Take the second right after the roundabout into the Thermo Fisher Scientific facility. From the M25: • Leave the M25 at junction 21A and join the M1 southabound. Leave the M1 at Junction 8. Take the third exit (right) at the first roundabout, first exit (left) at the second roundabout and straight ahead at the third roundabout. Take the second right after the roundabout into the Thermo Fisher Scientific facility. Travel by Airplane: • The closest airport to Hemel Hempstead is Luton, about 20 minutes by car. Heathrow is the second closest, about 35 minutes by car. Travel by Train: • The Eurostar arrives from Europe into London St Pancras International station. From St Pancras station follow the signs to the King’s Cross Underground station and take the underground to Euston Station. Euston station is also a short walk away. Once at Euston station follow the signs to the railway station. Trains to Hemel Hempstead run about every half an hour. From Hemel Hempstead station you will need a taxi to the Thermo Fisher Scientific building. A taxi rank can be found outside the station. Travel by Car: • If your journey starts from Luton airport, follow the signs to the M1 motorway (southbound-London) and then follow the local directions above (From the M25). If your journey starts from Heathrow follow the signs to the M25 (westbound-M11 Stansted) and then follow the local directions above (From the M25). From Stansted, join the M11 (southbound-London) until it joins the M25 at junction 6. Join the M25 anticlockwise (Heathrow direction) and then follow the local directions above (From the M25). Travel by Taxi: • Please be aware that unless you pre-book a taxi to pick you up from any UK airport, the fare price will be very high!     From 8th April 2017 Bus times Routes 84 242 PB1 New Times Country Routes www.metroline.co.uk Welcome to the fifth edition of our Country Routes Timetable Booklet! What’s changing from Saturday 8th April 2017? The main changes are: 84 84A A new daily timetable will be introduced to better match current traffic conditions, passenger demand and to improve punctuality. Route 84A will be renumbered 84. All journeys will run via Cell Barnes and St Albans City Station but buses will no longer run beyond St Albans to Harpenden, Luton Airport and Luton Town Centre or to Firbank Road. Apart from some Monday – Friday morning peak journeys, all buses will now approach St Peters Street via Hatfield Road to reduce the effects of traffic delays. School journeys will be maintained including a return journey via London Road in St Albans. Townsend School journeys will now start and finish in New Greens (High Oaks) rather than the School grounds. Please carefully check the new timetable before travelling. 242 Mondays to Saturdays: A new timetable will be introduced generally maintaining the current times and level of service, the main changes being to the evening service. Most buses will serve Whitefields Road and Church Lane in Cheshunt to provide a bus service in this area to assess demand. Some evening buses will also serve the western end of Longfield Lane to provide a facility for that area. A Monday – Friday peak hour return journey will also serve Cranborne Road Industrial Estate at Potters Bar. Please check the new timetable before travelling.
