Featured Artist–John Sabraw The artwork found throughout this catalog was created by Ohio University Art Professor John Sabraw. His paintings, drawings, and collaborative installations are produced in an eco-conscious manner, and he continues to push toward fully sustainable practices. In one of his current collaborations with scientists at Ohio University, Sabraw’s team harvests iron oxide for pigment production from the process of remediating streams polluted by mine runoff.

Sabraw’s art can be found in numerous collections, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Honolulu; the Elmhurst Museum in Illinois; Emprise Bank; and Accenture Corp. Sabraw also chairs the Painting + Drawing Program and serves as board advisor at Scribble Art Workshop in New York. He has most recently been featured in Smithsonian, New Scientist, and on the Discovery Channel.
