    Credibilidade, informação e acontecimento no Whiplash.net: produção e consumo de fãs no retorno do “Black Sabbath” Frederico de Mello Brandão Tavares* Rayana Sara Almeida da Silva** Resumo O portal de notícias Whiplash.net, especializado nos estilos musicais rock e heavy metal, possui conteúdo colaborativo elaborado, essencialmente, pelos próprios leitores. Opera-se no site, por usuários que são fãs, uma espécie de circuito informativo que, de alguma forma, coloca em cena questões jornalísticas e comunicativas, tangenciando um ethos profissio- nal e práticas sociais que envolvem o mundo das celebridades, do culto ao artista e da cena musical. Neste artigo, baseando-se em 399 textos publicados entre 2011 e 2014 sobre o retorno da banda britânica Black Sabbath depois de trinta anos de separação, foram analisadas as matérias colaborativas realizadas e sua circulação, observando os fluxos de posta- gens e comentários no site. Partindo do acontecimento em questão e de sua dimensão hermenêutica, problematizou-se – do ponto de vista da produ- ção e do consumo de conteúdos informativos na contemporaneidade e das chamadas “mudanças estruturais no jornalismo” – esse tipo de jornalismo, seu caráter, sua natureza e sua credibilidade.
