1st Annual Global Games November 29 – December 3, 2016 Challenge your limits Your child will be aiming high as they compete against students from across the region at the first annual Global Games, North America.

The Global Games is a five day multi-sport event that unites students aged 11-14 from Nord Anglia Education’s 11 schools across North America. Hosted at Windermere Preparatory School near Orlando, Florida, this is a fun, competitive, and action-packed event where your child will have the opportunity to go for the gold in a variety of sports:

■ Archery ■ Swimming ■ Basketball ■ Tennis ■ Flag football ■ Track and Field ■ Sand Volleyball (4X4) ■ Girls Volleyball ■ Soccer

We encourage your child to compete in as many sports as they wish - there are no tryouts at the school level and schools may enter multiple teams. The Global Games is as much about sportsmanship and teamwork, as it is about challenging yourself to excel.

The Global Games, North America is an exciting 5-day programme packed with sports competitions, activities and the chance to make new friends from Nord Anglia’s schools across the region. The programme is designed to enable your child to thrive in an atmosphere of ambition, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Day 1 – Arrival and Opening Dinner After registering and settling in to the hotel, your child will have a chance to get to know their fellow Nord Anglia Education students as they relax by the pool. In the evening, we will celebrate the start of the Global Games with an Opening Dinner and bowling evening, hosted at Splitsville Luxury Bowling Lanes. Your child will have the opportunity to go for the gold in a variety of sports.

Day 2 – Opening of the Global Games and Dave & Busters Day one of the sports competitions. Your child will participate in their first round of games and enjoy their free time between events in our on-campus Olympic Village. After a full day of competitions, students will head to Dave & Busters to eat dinner and play games - they might even win a prize!
