For Nature * Leadbetter State Park and the Willapa - If nature, peace and solitude are your desires at the beach, then this is the place to go. It is possible to see over 100 varieties of birds here as well as black bear, deer, elk, and a host of smaller animals in the Refuge. The park does require the Washing ton State “Discover Pass” which is $10.00/day or $30.00/ year for vehicle access. Jack’s Country store sells these Passes. Leadbetter State Park

* Nahcotta Tidelands Interpretive Site - The Interpretive Center on Sandridge Rd. Has signs describing animal and plant life in Willapa Bay. It is the only place where oysters can be harvested on this side of the bay. Oysters must be shucked on site and the shells left there for future oysters to grow on.

* Loomis Lake State Park - The park is located four miles south of Ocean Park, on Hwy 103 and 180th Pl. It covers 13.5 acres with 425 feet of saltwater frontage on the Pacific Ocean. The park offers 24 picnic sites, 10 windscreens, parking for 67 cars, and a trail to the beach. Recreation offered at the park includes picnicking, surf fishing, driftwood collecting, clamming, beach combing, and hiking. A Discover Pass is required

Loomis Lake State Park * Pacific Pines State Park is located approximately one mile north of Ocean Park. Take Hwy. 103 until you reach Ocean Park. Continue on Vernon St. until you reach 271st St. The park is used for day-trip beach activities and nature observation, with beachcombing and fishing, crabbing, and clamming opportunities in season. A Discover Pass is required. The park is open during the Summer: 8 a.m. to Ocean Park Beach Sunset dusk. Winter: Closed Nov. 1, reopens April 1. QR code provides links about Pacific Pines State Park. * The Beach - The Ocean Park Area beaches are famous for Sunsets, razor clams, “treasure hunting” and for being able to drive on the beach at low tide. If you have a disability, or walking in soft sand is difficult, our drivable beach offers the opportunity to easily visit the waters edge. QR codes provide links about Razor clamming. Ocean Park BeachArea Beaches Sunset For History * Oysterville – Oysterville is a very special, historic place with its beautiful church, pioneer school house, vintage homes and walking tour brochure (available in the old church). Vesper services are held each Sunday during the summer and the church or school house are available for weddings and a variety of community activities. Unbelievable peace and solitude are found here.

* Ocean Park Walking Tour - The walking tour brochure is available at the Chamber office and http://www.opwa.com/html/walking_tour.html. The self- guided tour offers an interesting glimpse into the remnants of Ocean Park’s past.

* Willapa Bay Interpretive Center - Visit a replica of the residence of oystermen and their families. The Interpretive Center has a video and commands a beautiful view of Willapa Bay.

* Oysterville Post Office - The Oysterville post office is the oldest in the state operating under the same name.

* Oysterville Cemetery - Chinook Indian Chief Nahcati is buried here along with many early settlers and sailors. For a history buff this is a fascinating place and it is also very quiet and peaceful. * Nahcotta Post Office - The Nahcotta Post office shares the building with Bailey's Bakery & Cafe. It’s fun to just go in the old post office and imagine what life in Nahcotta was like 100 years ago.

* Willabay Inc, Oysterville Sea Farms - In recognition of Oysterville's influence on west coast aqua-culture, the Oysterville Sea Farms cannery was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 21, 1976. This was key to Oysterville being designated a National Historic District.

* Garlic Festival - For over 30 years it has been "Chic to Reek" in Ocean Park on the 3rd weekend in June. Come join us for two fun-filled days of musical entertainment, plus food and craft vendors. This is the ideal place to buy all of the garlic variety items and condiments that you cannot find at your local stores.

* Old Fashioned 4th of July - Every year Ocean Park hosts a 4th of July Parade that brings families from Washington and the neighboring states to participate in the parade. Kid’s bicycles are decorated for free, there are fire trucks galore, an official flyover by the Coast Guard, family decorated floats and a good time is had by all. A very special family town parade! *Art in the Park – features our many talented local artists The Chamber sponsors “Art in the Park” on the 4th of July. Located on Sheldon Field, across from the school where the parade ends. Please join everyone shopping for some local craft and art work.

* Water Music Festival - This October we are celebrating our 32nd year of bringing fabulous music to the . Join us as we present exciting concerts, each of which features remarkable artist ensembles!

* Jazz and Oysters - An outdoor concert for Jazz enthusiasts! Fabulous jazz bands. Great food! Grilled oysters. Beer and wine garden. Dogs welcome in designated areas. Bring chairs or a blanket and enjoy.

* Rod Run to the End of the World – Since 1986, the Beach Barons Car Club has hosted a car show for approximately 750 participants to show off their cars to avid attendees at their 30 acre field, the weekend after Labor Day. There are also food, car product and craft Vendors plus a Swap Meet on the field again in 2016. If you have any interest in cars at all, you’ll see a wide variety of cars 30 years and older all in one place. For Golf

* Surfside Golf Course - Share a 9 Hole Course complete with a driving range, rental clubs, power carts, pull cart rentals, reasonable green fees and wildlife in a quiet coastal community. A PGA professional staff is available to assist your golfing needs including lessons by appt.

For Shopping * Jack's Country Store - A true country store atmosphere with a selection that rivals any big city grocery, variety or hardware store. Walking through Jack's is like time travel where you can still buy oil lamps, your favorite nostalgic candy and old time puzzles from your childhood. * Ocean Park Pharmacy - Located on the corner of Bay Ave. and Vernon in the center of Ocean Park, Peninsula Pharmacies' Ocean Park store fills prescriptions and sells over-the-counter medicines as well as cards, gifts and souvenirs.

For Adult Beverages * Doc's - On the SW corner at the blinking light in the middle of Ocean Park sits a local landmark (opened the day after the prohibition laws were repealed) known to several generations of locals and tourists. "The coldest beer in town", pool tables, darts and friendly conversation are always available. * Fraternal Order Of Eagles #3602 - Local Eagles lodge members and many out of town members visit the lodge in Ocean Park where there are varied activities throughout the week.

* Peninsula Moose Lodge # 2362 - For Moose lodge members, a visit to the lodge in Ocean Park is a good way to make new friends. Many varied activities are scheduled throughout each week. The above list only scratches the surface of activities to do and places to see, eat and stay.
