FROGS Summer Fair and Raffle

Attendance and Punctuality Assembly Dates

U9s tournament

Having wongjhgjhg a regional U9s tournament in May this year, the local team (LSS) for whom Carter Ford, Joe Smith and Noah Stander Moy play was invited to the home of English football, St. George’s Park in Burton-upon-Trent to take part against other regional winners.

The team did not look out of place at all, qualifying with a 100% record from the group stages – Carter and Noah contributing with two goals each.

LSS made it through to the final, narrowly losing 3-2 to , a club well known for producing professional footballers, including , Michael Carrick, Fraser Forster, Peter Beardsley and . Great achievement. Well done boys!

Bike Ride to Broxbourne – Year 6

Successful bike ride for 26 miles to Broxbourne for year 6 with parents and volunteers. Children were fantastic and had a pod swim. Looking forward to next year already.

Santander Volunteers

Santander volunteers came in on 5th July to paint and re-decorate the school playgrounds. They did an excellent job and our playgrounds are looking great. Thank you Santander

Hackney Youth Orchestras Trust

A classical music summer school will be open to Hackney residents aged 8-21 at Gainsborough School in Hackney Wick between 25 – 30 July 2016. Enquiries to [email protected]

2017 Trip to Cumbria

Please see Ian if your family would like to go to Grasmere Village and stay in the youth hostel. The dates are 29th June – 2nd July 2017. Priority is given to Year 6, if we are oversubscribed.
