WELCOME TO THE NEW OWNERS OF NEWSPOST —THE ATKINSONS

I decided to go and find out just who the new owners are at the Newspost, where they have come from and what they think of our village so far.

The family is made up of Ivor and Linda, son Peter and his wife Leanne and their four sons Oliver, Noah, Jacob & Theodore

They have lived in a variety of places both around the UK and further afield which will mean they will bring with them a variety of experiences.

Ivor & Linda have spent the last four years living in the Philippines although Ivor originates from Northern Ireland. WELCOME TO THE VILLAGE—THE SPA SALON

I went along to talk to Jane Rowley and find out about who they are and what they are offering. I received a warm welcome with all the team eager to tell me all about their new venture.

Jane explained that she was looking for a business opportunity and as Sapcote doesn‘t currently have any hairdressing or beauty facilities it seemed like a good place to be. Jane has previously lived in Sapcote about 12 years ago but more recently has moved from Stoke Golding

Jane is no stranger to the business having been in hairdressing for over 25 years and this being her 6th salon. She has also run a training school previously

so clearly believes in keeping standards high and ensuring that the stylists keep up to date.

The salon is split nicely into two distinct areas, downstairs are the hairdressers, Jane Rosie, Sam & Alice and then upstairs there are two beauty rooms run by Emily, Kate & Louise.

The hairdressing area will provide hair styling for ladies, gentlemen and children; they can cater for everybody and all occasions.

You can even treat you and your friends to an evening at the salon, so a group of ladies could bring a bottle of wine and try out some treatments. Sounds like a bit of fun to us.

We really wish them all success with this exciting new venture, please visit and give them a try
